I saw, thanks, Jessica. But she's gone already. :)

Does anyone have a tutorial for absolutely safely TT-ing out a villager for someone who's never time traveled and is really afraid of losing someone they like?

I don't think more than one villager can move out/want to move out at once. Don't quote me on that though.

Signature is out of date...

Looking for:

The 2/2 method is completely safe. All you have to do is start at the current date. Walk around your village and make sure you walk directly in front of every villager that is outside. If they Ping (!) at you, talk to them and they may ask to move out. If you do not want that villager to move out, say no, and they are are guaranteed to stay. If noone pings at you, then noone wants to move out, as those out shopping or in their houses will not move out.

If noone wanted to move out time travel two days into the future and repeat the above method. If noone wants to move out or someone wants to move out you don't want to, tell them no and then time travel back to the current date and start from the beginning. Also, if one person pings you, you can be certain noone else will on that day, as only one person max will want to move out on any given day.

It's pretty easy and completely safe.

Ah, I'm sorry /:
I time travel strictly to move out villagers. Once you time-travel to that date, none of your other villagers will leave. I promise. I've done it a few times so as long as you know that the one moving out is the one you want gone, you're golden ;D
If you're looking for a method for trying to get villagers to decide to move, the 2-2 method as stated above works well ^.

Out of curiousity, are you skipping 2 days or essentially just one day? (IE: Day 1 is the start--do you skip to the 3rd or the 4th?)

She skips from 1st day to 3rd day and then to 3rd day to 1st day back.

That's a way to make villagers want to move. ^

2 days. I'm on August 18th and I skip forward to August 20th, and t hen back to the 18th. Of course time does move forward, but two days up, two days back.

Actually, from my own experiences with time traveling I have had a few villagers move out without warning using the two days forward/two days back method. Just because nobody outside pings doesn't mean someone doesn't want to move out. I've had animals who weren't outside/were elsewhere move out without any warning. Of course it takes a few times going forwards and back for them to move out, but if you're unlucky and they aren't around at all you could be in for a sad surprise.

If you want to be 100% sure of a favorite not surprise moving do the following:

If that villager isn't walking around outside, just simply save and quit then re-enter the game until they are outside. If they do want to move they will ping. If they don't ping, you're safe! Just save and quit a few times to make sure all villagers have been cycled through and you know which one wants to move. :3

Chops is moving out on the first. I can Tt. Hurry though since. Have major timetraveling to do. Question: if someone wants to move out on August first but I'm going back to April does this mean no one will move out?
