So I know this isn't exactly on topic, but I screwed up when I TTed, and my favorite villager, Willow, is moving. Since I've encountered nothing but nice people here, I was curious if someone would be willing to help by taking her and allowing me to grab her back. I know this is a lot to ask, but I'm actually really upset over this. On that subject, do you know if this method works? Can it bypass the 16 villager cycle, or will I have to wait around for my chance to get her again?

I need to head to bed, so send me a PM if you're interested in any of these prospects or if you're willing or able to help. I'm the kind of person that likes to go above and beyond for my friends, and doing this for me will certainly put you in that category.

sorry about what happened to willow. I read somewhere that if someone takes a villager, gets her to move out, it's possible for the original player to convince the villager to go back. never tried it out myself or anything. it may or may not be true

I had heard that too, which is why I'm trying to find someone to help, or at least tell me whether it's true or not. I have a few rarer item sets (Ice set, Campus set) that I'd even be willing to part with just to make sure she makes it safe and sound back into my village. I really should have been more careful. I was trying to get Octavian to move for someone, since she's waiting for him. I really hate to make her wait any longer, but...

It's been proven that you still have to cycle through 16 villagers even if it's your own villager somewhere in this thread. It might have been jakeypride but I can't remember exactly.

Someone just PMed me and said that it was tested that so long as it is the exact same version of Willow that it would work. I would be willing to try. I won't post any offers here, but I do have another thread here. I'll stop clogging this place up now. Thank you everyone for your help and your kind words and PMs.

A few people have tested it and they did say that it didn't work. It has to be 16 villagers sadly
