Guys I just want to make an announcement here and something that I'd like to explain.

I'm not giving away villagers so you can profit or turn around and trade them.

I don't expect everyone I give out to be taken care of forever and ever and ever, but it would be nice if people who actually want them get a chance first. Or if a villager I give isn't instantly added to the "villagers for trade" part of your signature.

Like I said before, villageradopt said they've managed to get the dialogue option for having another town's camper move into their town, but it's really rare. Still, I think they're pretty trustworthy.

Also, seeing as people on here are apparently trying it, we'll hopefully find out once and for all.

No, it doesn't always have be to their dreamies. Some people don't have a list that's posted or they change and I can understand that. I'm talking about taking a villager from me and then immediately trading it.

Can't really do much about it. You don't know whether or not they want to keep them, and the ony way is through dream villager lists. So sucks.

People could unfortunately still lie about their dream villager lists. You just have to depend on the good nature that most people in this thread have. Sorry that happened to you, Chu!

That's the risk you run when giving out villagers sadly. I know you'd like for people to keep them but after they've moved in, they are there's to do whatever they wish. I understand it sucks though, since it's a nice gesture that people too often take advantage of.
