I am really curious to test this! Hopefully one of my cartridges or my gf's will have a camper soon so I can try. I always wondered if it was just not readily apparent, since sometimes it can take forever for them to prompt the move-in dialogue under normal circumstances too.

Totally want to test this out too! :3 Will post when I have a camper.

I'm pretty sure you can't ask an animal from another campsite to move into your town. ): Or else getting dream villagers would be a lot easier.

Multiple people on tumblr have apparently experienced it first hand, so some users here are going to test if it can be done. If it could that would be really cool...!

villageradopt said it was just "really really really (etc) rare." Idk, it's worth playing with, I think.

Somebody reported there was a rare chance you can, and that they've gotten the conversation before. No idea though, just thought it'd be fun!
