Well... Random, in this case, means everyone who wants him has an equal probability of getting him. You don't have to just be lucky and happen to see someone offering a villager.

Any anyway, the villager in question was going to be auctioned or raffled, so first come first serve wasn't even on the table.

I agree! First come first serve is fair, because you're first. In a raffle, it's completely random to the users.

A raffle gives everyone a fair chance. If someone claimed him right before you got there or if you were offline there would be disappointment. At least in a raffle you knew you had a fair shot >>---> ((o)) <---<< [arrows]

Eh... But it's not my raffle... :/

how is first come first serve more fair? a raffle gives everyone an equal chance of getting that villager, while first come first served... doesn't. it's just convenient and fast, not necessarily "more fair". at least imo.

I don't care what you guys say, I feel that a raffle is the best option for giving away someone like Zucker. I could just auction him away, or just keep him, but I decided to give him away. Raffles are much more easier to handle.

I feel that people want it first come first serve is because they're going to refresh the page every so often to get a chance to win him. I'm part of this actually. XD

No more arguments >.< Whoever is trading gets to choose how a villager is given away~ :D

I just think raffles are more fun! ;) (My two cents...)

If anyone's giving away anything, be thankful they're doing it and don't make a fuss over how they give it away. It's free! If you don't like the conditions of getting it for free, then don't get it for free. :/

Raffles are way better
Some people cant just refresh the page constantly for a villager, and theres no way of gaging if the person has a full interest, atleast in a raffle people have an interest to even enter
