Helmet Catch https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helmet_Catch#/random

The Helmet Catch was an American football play involving New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning and wide receiver David Tyree in the final two minutes of Super Bowl XLII on February 3, 2008. It featured Manning escaping from the grasp of three New England Patriots defensive players and throwing a forward pass, followed by Tyree making a leaping catch by pressing the ball against his helmet. The play, a 32-yard gain during a drive on which the Giants scored the game-winning touchdown, was instrumental in the Giants' 17?14 upset victory over the Patriots, who were on the verge of becoming the first National Football League (NFL) team to finish a season undefeated and untied since the 1972 Miami Dolphins, and the first since the NFL adopted a 16-game regular season in 1978. NFL Films' Steve Sabol called it "the greatest play the Super Bowl has ever produced". The play was also named by NFL Films as "The Play of the Decade (2000s)". It was also the final catch of Tyree's NFL career.

James Barker Edmonds
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Barker_Edmonds#/random

James Barker Edmonds (May 20, 1832 ? December 29, 1900) was president of the board of commissioners for the District of Columbia, United States, from 1883 to 1886.

Edmonds was born in Saratoga County, New York. He began the study of the law early and was only 21 when he was admitted to the New York State bar in 1853 and entered practice. Three years later, in 1856, Edmonds relocated to Iowa City, Iowa, then the capital of the state, where he opened a law partnership with Charles T. Ransom and grew the firm into one of the most prestigious and wealthy in the Midwest.

Edmonds successfully practiced law in Iowa for 19 years, but in 1875 his poor health force him to relocate to Washington, D.C., where he settled into a retirement from the legal practice but remained a sought-after consultant for other attorneys in the city.

Although he remained the board's Republican commissioner until 1885, when former Louisiana Senator Joseph Rodman West resigned from the presidency of the D.C. Board of Commissioners in 1883, President Chester A. Arthur nominated Edmonds to serve as the board's Democratic commissioner and its chair. Edmonds served as chair of the commission from March 3, 1883, to April 1, 1886, at which time both his presidency and his term as a commissioner expired. President Grover Cleveland offered him reappointment, but Edmonds turned it down. According to the Washington Post, "Mr. Edmonds was one of the most efficient and popular officials of those who have presided over the affairs of the district, and his refusal to accept a renomination for office was greatly regretted."

Edmonds died at his home on K Street in Washington on December 29, 1900, at the age of sixty-nine.

James Barker Edmonds Elementary School in Washington, DC was named in his honor in 1903. It closed in the 1970s and was occupied at various times by a credit union, the National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education, the Associates for Renewal in Education and a daycare center. In 2014 it became a condominium known as the Edmonds School.

Hong Kong two-dollar coin https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hong_Kong_two-dollar_coin#/random

The two dollar coin is the third-highest denomination coin of the Hong Kong dollar. Since its introduction in 1976, it is one of two circulating coins to not be round (the twenty cent coin is also not round). The two dollar coin is a dodecagonal scallop in shape, and made of cupro-nickel.
It was issued in 1975, and thus became the highest denomination coin until the five dollar coin was introduced the next year. The coin was a new denomination to the Hong Kong monetary system, as suggested by the Coinage Review Committee.[1]

The obverse featured Queen Elizabeth II from its introduction until being replaced with the Bauhinia flower in 1993, which featured on all Hong Kong coins minted since that year. In 1997 a commemorative coin was issued featuring the two saints of harmony, the He He brothers, to commemorate the handover of Hong Kong, from the United Kingdom to China.
