Yeah I didn't realize it at the time and I think I voted when the blessing window was closed.I kinda wish I saved my gnomeo poll votes until this window was open...it's been kinda hard getting dust.

I saved mine, but really didn't notice a real difference between dust from those polls and dust from other polls. I got 8 fairy dust for a gnome poll, but no fairy dust for the other gnome polls I voted in, even waiting an hour between votes...until this morning, 7 fairy dust for a different poll (is tom nook evil...).
Still trying to figure out the timing of the different blessings, lol....I was hoping if we could figure the timing, collecting would be easier.

I wonder if it is individual timing, or if it is timing by certain minute marks on the EST clock.

Alright, I'm here to report my findings:I'm wondering if the dairy dust correlates to word count, 'cus hoo-boy I'm about to drop a tome into the Hero's Crossing story contest, lol.
Last night, voting on the Gnomeo poll earned me 7 dust.
Overnight, earning some likes and love reactions to my posts earned another 9 dust.
Submitting my 3800+ word story in a spoiler and making some side comments with a link in Hero's Crossing earned 6 dust.
So that's basically it... I'm led to believe the spoilered words don't count on purpose. Or maybe just that forum. Who knows.

Wait so earning reactions also earns dust? I thought you only got it for sending likes. If both the recipient and sender get dust then that'd be a pretty solid way to spread dust over all.
Did you happen to see how many likes you got over night? I'm wondering what the likes received to dust ratio is.

I could be totally wrong on the exact number-- I don't quite recall when I last checked my dust count before going to bed, but I certainly do have more this morning than I did before going to sleep, and the only thing that happened was I received a few reactions.

It wouldn't hurt to spread around more reactions. Logging in might get fairy dust also?
Visiting a profile, and posting on a profile also earn dust, but like the polls, seems to be more limited than 'conversational blessings'...I got dust for a profile post yesterday evening, but not again until this morning.
It depends whether a fairy happens to be present at the time, watching you perform the action and blessing you
