Windows Vista is finally released!

I was going to get vista on lanuch but I'm not going to since I found out my graphic card doesn't support areo. And I noyl have 1 GB. So I thought why not get a new PC?
It'd be dumb to buy vista and then get a new PC a month later.

So yeah, I'll have it late Feb or early april.

Not so much a 'wow' as a painful 'groan' from me. I don't want to have to shell out so much cash for XP with bells attached, but I'm going to have to for DX10.

:(

I'm not getting it... if I ever have it would have come with the computer =o

I'm not gonna get it for a while. If my dad ever gets a new computer, it'll probably come with it, so...

The laptop my dad bought a week ago is Windows Vista Premium Ready, so im good to go :gyroidveryhappy:

I got vista last night and have installed but there's no D-Link driver for my wireless connector yet.

:( So I basically have vista with no internet which ='s no point.

-_-

I'm using my mom's PC right now that doesn't have vista installed.

I'll wait and see if it really is the next operating system WORTH getting. I honest don't know with those guys...

I got to get my hands on Vista (some computers at Best Buy were running it), and I actually kinda like the new Windows Aero interface. But it like, requires the latest ActiveX control (at least I think it does...), but I like Vista...

@Justin: Yikes! No internet on Windows Vista??? It looks like "The 'Wow' Won't Start Now" on the internet!

:p

Well, I just got home from spending another $250 on top of vista and a new graphics card today to get a new router and adapter that actually WORKS with vista. I just finished installing. I LOVE this adapter, it's a N one too. *heart*

VISTA IS AWESOME, I LOVE IT!

:D

:D

:D

YAY! My dad is getting ultimate for free from the company he works for, so he said he'll let me install it. ROCKIN'!

I won't get to experience the next gen Windows because I'm preety sure this computer won't support Vista it started out with Windows ME... although it has Windows XP Professional right now. Although my mom who got a new computer two months ago can she is getting her copy in about 6 weeks for the launch.
