here is what to do when PMing a friend

so... do you like animal crossing? because i've been to this forum about animal crossing, its really cool... its called The Bell Tree... its run by the guy that made the Animal Crossing Ask Center... its really a great place... of course its not JUST for animal crossing, its got other games too




that works well... it makes them feel less like they HAVE to join, more like they can if they want...

Aslo we could brag about more then one skins that we could choose...that is always a good thing to have. I can make one, I just need to know what colors or theme do you want for it.

how about giving people options... maybe let them decide what color their name will be... that would be cool.... but at the same time really hard to manage... and overall hecktic...

one of the only things i've seen that nobody else has is the fact that we have all these contests... and especially the Smiley Elections... those would get alot of people interested in us if we had those more publicly




if you were to add different backgrounds and things... that would give people more of a customizeable forum... like me at NSider... i wouldn't last very long with that white background... it hurts my eyes




if you gave people alot of a say... and granted... we do have alot of say


i could see this place growing alot




maybe add in some acual Avatars... instead of having a million what ever you wants... those bug me more than anything

I like tyhe avatar idea. Having a selection is good. I would actually like that more than the free avatar. I would like also a more enthusiastic smiley election.

anyway, yes, the Smiley vote didn't turn out well last time... of course, it did catch most of us by supprise... i didn't know anything about it til it appeared suddenly


if we let everyone know about a week before... it could gain the speed it needs




ok, heres my idea for the Avatars, everyone makes as many as they want, then the admins and mods decide which are the best to put in... winners could even get money

but seriously... in japan... they make animal crossing polly pocket things (and they acually look pretty cool ) ...its a hit there... obviously... so i would guess they talk about it... alot
