Things you dislike in HHD?

Up to now it's when the happy home network comes up with error message every soft often, when I'm trying upload my creations :(.

Angled furniture! Why not >< Also yes, the uniform jacket and the lack of personality in villagers. Would be nice to converse with them or anything more than just Hi.
I wish there was a setting to have the item UI stay up when you place an item.
I wish we could take higher quality screenshots of the homes since there is little else. Maybe even short videos?
Would also be fun to invite friends into your mainstreet and walk around together.
Maybe even add a mini game about animal's requested themes or something.
IDK i guess I'm just listing things I want now instead of things I dont like

I agree with all of these!

It would have been nice to have a little more multiplayer in the game!

One feature I thought of that might be neat would be the ability for us to design homes for friends based off of a theme they gave us. I'm not sure exactly how that'd work, but I think it'd be cute. You could set a theme and your friends could build a house for you based off of that theme and vice versa.

Out of all of the things in this game that are lacking from the normal AC, us not having our own house just kind of sticks out the most...

My main gripe so far is that I can't save and quit in the middle of designing a house. I spend probably at least an hour on most houses and up to 3+ on the more elaborate facilities and it gets exhausting! I'll just close my 3DS and put it aside sometimes but I don't like leaving games on all the time like that.

You can save in the middle. I don't know what they say in English, but if you talk to the villager in the middle of designing you have the option to save and come back later.

Many of the things above mentioned annoy me too, so I can't really add anything new other than that I wish there would've been a streetpass option. I mean in New Leaf you get to show off your house, what if the streetpass option once you pass someone is to show off the 'best' room you've decorated! Would also increase the chances of your favorite rooms to be rated! Or select a furniture item that you want to share with people once you streetpass, just as in Tomodachi Life with some clothes, and these furniture items are only available to get through streetpass!

Or indeed an option where you could play together, visit people's houses they've decorated in the game that you are visiting!
The clothing also bothers me. The jacket is fun and all and I understand that you 'have' to wear it because you work, but changing your clothes every time you go into someone's house kinda sucks.

I only get the options to tell them I'm finished or cancel completely (or say "never mind"), is it a feature you have to unlock at some point?

No. Just press start (outside of any conversations with the villager) like in New Leaf and it will give you the option to save and come back later.

I tend to use a lot of patterns outside and I always run out of space (the amount of items used).

I did this the other day when trying to make a full chess set. (I didn't remember I had the chess floor so I was laying down individual tiles to make the board...)

I am also getting pretty tired of my jacket. In real life it would be pretty smelly by now lolol!

This hasn't been mentioned yet so maybe I am doing it wrong... but I HATE that when I scroll through my furniture and stuff looking for something, it is so hard not to poke something I don't want with my stylus. I end up doing a lot of trashing unneeded items which makes scrolling cumbersome.

If you're looking for a specific item you can always search for it.

Tbh I think the game is pretty good, and the majority of the things I dislike are minor and are only due to making things more convenient, and since this is their first main spin off attempt, I can easily ignore them and look the other way.

That said I do have one major disappointment, which is there's no home of your own to design. I mean, I kind of get why they did this - because players would have instead spent hours designing their own home, instead of their villagers, which is the main focus of the game - but other at the same time I don't see why it couldn't be a post game reward after completing the main story. It could have easily gone up from the path to the left of Nooks Homes (instead of the path acting as an additional gateway to the client list), and from there you were given your own plot of land to design an exterior, and an interior for a house as big as yours got in new leaf.

So yeah, that's really the only thing that I dislike and can't ignore at all.

The one thing that bugs me is that we don't have a house of our own. It would be really nice to start out with a small house, and be able to expand it and redecorate it while we progress in the game.

Okay I hate how scrolling through the furniture isn't smooth, it's like paged. I want to do one big swipe and have it scroll, not have it stop on every freakin page

This is the one thing that I really HATE about this game. It makes it take forever to find anything

only the fact that I don't have it yet and peeps around me keep on teasing..

Having Jambette in my town

I dislike the item limit. I know it is there for a reason but sometimes it sucks. Also I wish we have more character spaces for the room theme on hnn. I wanted my office to be "Donuts in the meeting room" But it was too long ._.;
More small tables would be great. I rarely use the big tables.

RIGHT? Like, a villager will give me a prompt, and then later when I go to re-model their house and re-enter the prompt they gave me in the title, the game won't let me because it's too long. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Should have thought of that, thanks!

i'm annoyed that i wanna chat with the animals sometimes and the item unlocking is starting to get to me...I had a few villagers that i thought for sure was gonna unlock the hammock :/

My girlfriend got HHD, but I couldn't convince myself to get one. All the amazing features in animal crossing's mostly gone but left with home decoration. I think I will simply stick with new leaf until the next one's released.

1) I love that the catalogue has pics of the actual things. No more leaves, hallelujah! But. there doesn't seem to be an order that I can discern...I really want things to be alphabetical, to pick temporary/permanent favorites that'll show up first...because remodeling the alpine series with one cute shirt is a freaking pain. Maybe it is alphabetical in Japanese? I dunno. but please; it's hard to find stuff.
2) Some furniture that falls under a furniture category is not in that tab. For example: go to the stereo/electronics tab, and the lily record player isn't there. But the music box is. ejfawoeifjwoei Drives me bonkers.
3) Yeah, let us change our top & only have us wear the uniform when we're working!
4) Coco does not unlock coconut trees but Yuka unlocks banana trees. T.T
5) Instead of just buying all the animals/art/fossils/gyroids, maybe they could've been unlockable too (some are) because I'm tired of getting animals that only give you their picture.
6) You can put the huge windmill pwp in your house but not the trees/bushes. o_O
7) Why can animals wear some hats & not others? What's wrong with the pirate hat? ...But some things are just funny, like putting sunglasses over Kid Cat's helmeted face. XD
8) Since we're designing house exteriors too, I was bummed when we didn't get some exteriors that animals have in New Leaf or otherwise, like Skye's sky blue brick exterior. WHY?!
9) Do we get mannequins?
