Thinking about getting Galaxy...

alright, so I have like 5 friends pushing me to get galaxy, and it seems really cool. But on the other hand, I could get a 2GB MicroSD card for my cell phone at $22, which would multiply my space by ~30 times. I have a wimpy 64 MB that came with it. Both seem awesome, but I don't want to spend that much money right now to buy both.

But luckily, one of my friends is going to help me make that decision. He says that Galaxy isn't "his type of game." in other words, it's too hard for him . So he's letting me borrow it for a week starting tomorrow. If I like it, I'm going with galaxy, if not, the card.

I expect that I'll love it, because judging from what I've heard, who wouldn't?

So yeah... I don't know why anyone would care to read this, but I just figured I'd keep you guys updated. Why? Who knows. I guess I'm just bored. xD

"Thinking about it", it should be basic instinct, get the game at all costs.

It's like the easiest Mario game so far.

They suck. Terribly.

It's painful just watching them play anything.

I get something good out of it though, they think I have magic gaming powers or something xD

I am not necessarily that good at playing at video games either since well a lot of the games I have, I've never beat or I beated it but didn't fully complete it. I dunno I just get so frustrated when things get very hard in a video game. Anyways on topic you definitely should get Galaxy it is by far the best game on the Wii and it pretty much measures up to a sequel of Super Mario 64.

I do to! Super Mario 64 wasn't all that great in my opinion. It's one of those bad games that got hyped to much.

I do to! Super Mario 64 wasn't all that great in my opinion. It's one of those bad games that got hyped to much.

I didn't think it was bad. I just didn't like the way the game was done. It really is a bunch of levels with different objectives. That's what platform Mario games are. I understand why people like it but even though I try I can't.

I played it, and I didn't like it much.
I like Sunshine more.

I really liked Galaxy. I admit, some of the levels require a little more time and thought to get through, but it's very fun IMO.

You guys are all nuts.... Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy are masterpieces, 64 changed platforming as a genre and Galaxy did something that no other platformer did before, and both did their jobs exceptionally well.

I disagree. Games such as Sin and Punishment are masterpieces.
However, Super Mario Galaxy was excellent. Super Mario 64 was decent.

I disliked 64 yet I loved Sunshine. Galaxy has its own feel about it. The difficulty isn't too easy or too challenging. I think you'd like it.

alright so I borrowed it.... at first, I was skeptical. I didn't like it much until like the third galaxy.

Then I started getting into it.... It's just so unique and creative.

It's not the best game I've ever played, and I don't plan on spending $50 on it anytime soon, but it was good.
