This update is really messing with my mind and common sense

I know it's not the 5th yet, and yet when my Switch notified me of an update available when I went to open New Horizons, I almost ran out into the dark rain slicked streets screaming in happiness when it was just my Switch system needing an update.

See this is what happens when you're me. No common sense at all, especially over video games.

To be fair, this could’ve happened to anyone. This is an update we all have been waiting for and it’s easy to let the excitement get the best of us.

You’re not the only one who is eager. I’ve been checking a couple times every day to see if preorders for HHP have opened yet. It’s not like that will make a difference when I get the game, lol.

Lol well it's good to know that we are all basically losing our marbles over this lomg awaited update and would have (and probably doing) some crazy things if we thought for a second it's releasing earlier than announced.

When my switch needed an update today, I also got instantly happy. I’m not even sure what exactly was updated. This update was told too much in advanced. I wish they had announced it a day before. The feeling that I’ve been waiting an eternity seems so real. They can’t drop something so huge and awesome on us and make us wait so long

I’m not complaining or anything. I supposed good things come to those who wait.

I feel ya. I literally planned a whole new items cataloging party 20 days before the update. Good thing there's the halloween event going on right now or I'd be overthinking everything

I totally feel you! Anticipation like no other!

I think I am more excited about this update than anything right now. It’s a really positive thing to happen. Especially, in video game world.

Nintendo dropped this at the perfect time too! ***Animal crossing while drinking some pumpkin spice chai tea curled up while the fall transitions into the winter!***
What else could one possibly want?!

I'm dealing with it pretty well due to a lack of an attention span because God or whatever's out there knew I'd be too powerful if I had one, so I'm not really focused on the update right now. XD

I feel you. Apparently I’ll occasionally get this faraway expression that prompts my boyfriend to ask: “are you thinking about the villagers that may or may not be on your island again?”

Lol, I KNOW that you can't preorder the DLC until the 29th, but I still check eshop everyday for it and today I was at target and check to see if series five was "magically" out......smh
