Thoughts about Perfect Fruit?

I've asked a lot of my friends what their native fruit is going to be and some of them have told me that they're waiting to see the perfect fruit in New Horizons first!
...Personally, I don't think perfect fruit are going to make a comeback? I don't really remember if perfect fruit were announced in the New Leaf trailers..? I feel like there was some screenshots of them though before the game came out!!! Then again, there's no reason why they wouldn't come back! Maybe eating a perfect fruit will replenish your stamina to the max!!!

Do you think that perfect fruit are going to be in the game and if so, will that impact your choice in what fruit you'll get?

I don't see a reason why perfect fruit wouldn't come back, but it won't impact my choice what fruit I'll get. Not going to reset for it.

I was kinda wondering if perfect fruit would be put to use in some sort of crafting (still thinking about someone's idea of cooking for bells)

Yes, I believe perfect fruit will be back, and no, it won't impact my fruit choice, as I'm not really given a choice to begin with. I don't plan on resetting to get preferred anything, as I'm certain that if/when I get the fruit I want, I'll get the "wrong" airport color, or the right airport color, but a mouth of the river heading east or west, and not south.

The odds of getting exactly the fruit you want, with the airport color you want, and the map design choice you want are slim, and not worth the time it'll take to reset.

I'm hoping their back, because I really like the look of perfect apples. But I can live without them.

I hope and I guess assume they'll be in NH. I don't have that big of a prefrence on what my town fruit is because I'm probably going to get them all anyway, and I thinkk there are way more important things to worry about when resetting.

I do like the look of perfect pears though.

It won't be a game-changer for me if they don't come back, but I love the look of the perfect apples. But I'm resetting for apples, anyway.

Mostly, I'm just hoping they come back because the average fruit looks so good, I REALLY want to see what they made the perfect fruit look like. Aesthetically speaking.

I like the perfect fruit for my choice of native fruit so I might plant them inbetween if I feel like it, but tbh I'd rather see more native fruits (like tropical ones *cough*), I don't think perfect fruits make sense with slightly different colors. Like it would make more sense if regular fruit decayed and perfect fruit stayed normal forever, or maybe all perfect fruits would be golden, but as it is right now I really don't care for it.

in the past the perfect fruit designs were not that significant to me, so for NH I dont plan on making that a sole reason for me to choose one fruit over the other.

I hope perfect fruit is back, maybe it can have longer lasting properties than regular fruit? (Ex. One fruit eaten can let you dig up 1 tree while a Perfect fruit can let you dig up 5?)

would have loved to see images of the perfect fruits but i'm sure they still exist! wouldn't make sense if they didn't. i'm having a hard time deciding what i want but i'm hoping for oranges or cherries~ i think they look the cutest in the renders imo!

i really hope they?ll make a comeback - this does impact my native fruit choice a bit since i really love the look of perfect peaches, but i want peaches to be my native fruit even if perfect fruit doesn't return aha

I liked perfect fruit, but I'm still kinda indifferent about it. Its not really of that much importance, I'd prefer a nice variety in trees. Fruit or otherwise. Either way the trees that were showcased all looked wonderful. Already look kinda like perfect trees to me. I guess with so much new stuff to collect and do, I don't mind it that much if the perfect fruit would go.

Call me looney but I think perfect fruit with be cut for snacks and desserts. I think villagers will have favorite snacks based on their personalities and we get those for them. The reason I think this is because of the 10 stack of cupcakes from a screenshot and the hunger/energy mechanic that has been added. If they add a new feature about eating, it?s not wild to speculate there are new things to eat.

I was thinking a bit similarly. Some people are suspecting/hoping that this time we can cook, especially because of the cupcake stack screenshot. Maybe you can give them to villagers for a gift or eat them yourself for energy? Still, I don’t think that means perfect fruit would be cut, but it could be an ingredient for food gifts! (Or furniture)
