Do you guys follow this everyday? I remember when I was first started and got this option, I was so excited and just had once and then honestly I never did that again

When I first started playing, I checked it quite often (mainly to get the Nook Mile achievements) for the first few days. I don't bother with it now at all, not even when the achievement calls for it.

i've never asked them about it, i just check the sign outside. even from day one, i've never really bothered with it. i'll do it occasionally for the NMs, but it depends what items they're looking for (since i won't waste materials on anything that calls for a lot of them), and i'll usually just leave it as one of those tasks i don't do along with the tree-chopping one and some others.

Well since I restarted my island I was using that a lot and truth be told I did make a lot of bells for doing it. Its something that I don't see a lot of people do but you can actually sell stuff for a good profit, but its hard because you don't have the DIYS learned to sell the stuff that they want. Thank god I saved those duplicated DIYS from my old island before I restarted.

I did when I first started the game since money was important to gather. Now since I have so much bells, I don't care and just sell whenever.

I think I stopped checking that like a week into playing. With so many ways to make money, it just didn’t seem worthwhile, especially since crafted items take a lot of time/materials to make. You could dive for 10 minutes and make what hot items you could in an hour! Totally useless in late game unfortunately.

Yeah because most of us rely on selling turnips we get a great price. Its just only way on making bells faster.

I just kept reading the title, and I had no clue what you were talking about.

That’s how little I have used it. I think only once.
Basically what they trying to ask is about the whole "Whats Hot" when you talk to Timmy and Tommy at the Nook Shop, They tell you the items that they will see double the amount that it usually sells say for example they would want to sell a "Wooden Chest" for a double value. It does change daily so its something to watch if you are low on bells and don't want to rely on the stock market much.

I've checked it every day for as long as I can remember. I still hit my rocks every day (enjoy the routine), and the iron nuggets as well as the stones really build up over time and clutter my storage. It's a good way of making Bells since I don't sell turnips, and it helps with the Nook Miles DIY Furniture achievement!

I don't do it super often, but I actually like it a lot. It's fun for me, and a way to work towards the nook miles achievement things for the crafting furniture and stuff. I also tend to really overstock on material when I go island hopping (the one time I did like, almost 200 islands was a disaster for my storage and island space orz ), and it feels like such a waste to just sell the raw material so I will watch for things I can make and then make a bunch and sell them. I also just find it fun to do honestly.

We're talking about the hot items at Nooklings right? I never really bothered with it. I remember reading somewhere to wait for the big money makers to go on the hot list. For example, the shell arch. So it was a long time until I finally got that to go on the list and had plenty of time to farm all the seashells every day. I collected so many that I figured I would be rolling in the bells when it was all done and over.

It was actually more of a hassle then it was worth. I had to keep going back to the DIY table and my storage resources because I needed such and such shell or kept grabbing too little or too many of one of them. And then it got to the point where my pocket spaces would get too full with all the excess shells I needed to craft the shell arch.

By the time I got enough crafted I probably got around 145,000, It just wasn't worth it between all the back and forth. This turned me off from crafting for a while lol. It'd be way more manageable if we could pool from our pockets and storage to craft.

i think i only ever really bothered with it when it came to nook miles plus achievements if i was reallyyy grinding them, but like others have said there are so many other ways to make money that it's definitely not my priority

No not really. I’ve done it in the past when wanting nook miles, but the ones I’ve done are a drain on my resources. I don’t really like hitting rocks and collecting wood so I prefer not to do it. I collect stuff every now and again, but it would be a grind for me and I’m really just not into that right now. At this point I really don’t need the bells or the nook miles so there is no point to it. Not that I did it much when I did. I prefer saving fish and bugs to sell to Flick and CJ for money maybe not the best way, but we all play how we like.

It's my source of income, I've made tons of money off of that Deal of the day, alot. It's a great way, esspecially if it's a really simple item, like a wooden bucket or rocking horse

I have completely forgotten about that D: When browsing the forum I wondered what on earth the thread title meant. Only then I remembered items of the day were a thing. At this point I have so many bells I probably wouldn't bother.

Thats sad because there are many other ways to make bells besides selling turnips. I found out that if you pick a lot of blue roses they sell for a lot more. Like I want you to know I picked like 400 of them and I sold them for only 400,000 bells at the nook shop. Flower breeding was so much worth it after I did that and thats why I love the blue roses. They are 1,000 bells each.

At the beginning of the game I checked it daily and used it a ton to get bells before I got into the stalk market game. After that, once I got to grinding Nook Miles I would check it whenever I got a task that required selling a hot item. But after that, I've only checked it intermittently when I've had excess materials and not enough storage space and wanted to get more money for those materials, lol. Haven't checked it in months, though.

It's not a bad concept but because I've played the previous series (as have many others as well), I already have my set technique to earn bells. I think I tried it for a week and was like "alright, that's enough."

So it's a bit obsolete for me.
