Do any of you have an island that they haven't terraformed at all?

I straightened one riverbank a tiny bit to allow for a bridge and laid down some paths, but otherwise I haven't terraformed anything. If that counts, then, yes, my island is non-terraformed. And I like it just fine. Though I'm also not super ambitious when it comes to decorating. I decorated my island a lot, but it's nothing compared to what I've seen some people do.

My island is terraformed, but I based it on the the layout of how my island came. I either expanded some cliffs, or changed a path of the river to fix some areas. It's not where I completely removed everything and made it the way I wanted (people who do that have created some amazing islands!)

If it wasn't confident I could change some things around, I would have left it alone. I imagine there are plenty of islands out there that haven't been changed.

mine's probably close to as non-terraformed as you can get. aside from adding some little stepping stones to the river in two places (for convenience) and smoothing out some cliffs, the only noticeable thing is a little two-tier waterfall feature i built on the otherwise entirely flat western side of my town. it was right back near launch, just because i wanted to test the feature out, but it's nothing special. beyond that, and setting down paths, my island's geography is exactly as it was when i first started the game lol.

My island has been slightly terraformed. My original map had a huge river that created an island and I got rid of the island.

The only terraforming I've done is to straighten a cliff for a ramp. I've also laid down some walkways but didn't have to do anything to the area underneath as it was already flat. I like the look of my island so I left it alone as much as possible. I don't have anything against those who do do a lot of terraforming though. Quite the opposite - I'm usually in awe of what they thought of and accomplished.

I did some, but most of it was neatening cliffs so I could place houses. I did create a reflecting pool and added a few mini waterfalls to the existing area by my house. But I didn't raze areas and sculpt new ones.

For the first year I had my island I did very little terraforming. The most I did was fix a river a few places to fit a house. Non terraformed islands can look really nice. I did eventually start terraforming and I love the results.

I didn't do any terraforming for the longest time, then I terraformed a little bit to make my garden area slightly bigger :)

The only terraforming I did was make a couple river bends a bit smoother, and I took out some cliff to put in a ramp. Oh and added another small pond for a park picnic area. But I never did the whole waterfalls everywhere, and it's still pretty much the same island that it was when I started.

I'm too afraid of doing something I can't fix. All I've done was make my ponds heart shaped, added a couple stepping stones in lieu of bridges and adjusted the shape of the very top pond above the waterfall because it was difficult to fish

My island is heavily terraformed as I enjoy carving the land and waterways.

There's no shame in not wanting to terraform at all. I think that's the beauty of the game, where it's up to the player if they want to go crazy or be minimal.

i enjoy lots of mountains, waterfalls, and ponds / lakes on islands! i really love being able to do what i can with my island, and seeing how creative people can get with theirs. some of my favorite builds are the sunken waterfalls. do you happen to have a dream code?

I've done very little terraforming to my island. The most I've really done is remove one pond and make another one bigger. I honestly just wanted to try and work with the island that the game provided me with in the beginning, and for the most part I've managed to do that. It does make it more interesting to try and just work with what you're given, but you do admittedly miss out on some of the cool things people manage to do with their islands through terraforming.

My island has a lot of terraforming areas a bit at the front and the rest is completely towards the back half of my island.

I have been seeing of lot of really nice islands that are not terraformed at all and just have lots of beautiful gardens and nature areas all over.

I don't really like terraforming my island because then it's too much work to tear down again
I only make simple raised cliffs in some places and then maybe some simple waterfalls and bodies of water
the problem is I don't really mind how exhausting terraforming is it's that I don't really know how to terraforming well
idk how you guys are making the landscaping of your islands so pretty I suck at exterior design I feel more confident with interior design

I think its super cool for people to work with a none terriformed island!! Since lots of people look at say random clifs, or waterfalls and wanna remove them, but some people work with what they were given, and thats creativity, and I did that with my old island.

In my opinion if people wanna do a more natural theme they shouldnt terrafoarm, since it looses a actual natural vibe, as oppose to a terrafoarmed one that doesnt feel as natural.

I prersonally love terrafoarming, its alot of fun for me. Ive flatened my island at least 5 times lol.

But yes, I really like none terraformed islands.
