today is Winter Solstice in the northern hemisphere. how cold does it get where u r?

#WinterBoyz coolin' with the 57 degrees Fahrenheit out here in Southern California
I could only wish for some snow though :-(

The weather looks nasty out there this morning and I've got to go out in it soon!

It's stupidly mild here, I hate it! I want it to get cold really badly, winter doesn't feel right without it. It's 7C currently, and that's at 8:30am so it'll probably reach 10C later today. I miss the winters we had years ago where it was always below freezing. It's also really windy and raining constantly now fml.

O I forgot about this! It's about 1℃/33℉ here now at 10.30, so not bad. I'm nottt looking forward to Jan/Feb when it's by far the coldest...

it was colder earlier, now it's pretty mild. around 2 degrees C.

the worst part is that it is so ****ing dark, the sun is t up until 9 or 10 and it starts going down at 2 . ...... like Thanks not like we needed the light or anything ...,,..

I swear it's like 10?c here wtf is happening climate

Oh, which is 50?F for those people who for some reason use Fahrenheit

It's above freezing right now (in the morning, it barely even hit that for an overnight low), and it's supposed to get into the mid 60s (F) on Christmas. So flipping lame.

I feel like we just had our cold blast of the season a few days ago. We had a few days where it didn't get above freezing. One day where it stayed in the teens for highs (sadly that's as cold of days as we get around here, and, in fact, that's the coldest we've seen it in years). It got down in the single digits a couple of nights, which was nice to see!

Sadly, it was all only accompanied with less than an inch of snow. We just can't get any substantial snow these days. The last time we had a real snow storm was in February of 2011, and that winter we saw over 24 inches for the total. Last year we didn't even get an inch for the whole season total.

So come on Winter Solstice. Do your magic this year! I'm tired of not having winters...
