"Ketsueki? That's a strange name.. I think we should just follow him for now then, and if he finds us, we'll attack if we need to, okay?" Ani smiled, stopping short. She realized - how were they supposed to find the ghoul? Maybe if they could sneak around, they could find a ghoul. Just then, she heard a blood-curdling scream which mad eher flinch, gesturing to Alee to follow as she ran towards to where she heard the sound, but made light footsteps in order to scare the ghoul or surprise them.
"Ah it is.. I think it means like.. butch? butch or something?" Alee questioned Ani curiously, quite obvious to the fact the name actually translated into blood, although the petite girl didn't have much time to actually think about it to get the translation correct as a blood curdling scream rang out and caused her ears to ring.
"C-coming! looks like trailing won't be an option anymore.." The girl whimpered as she scurried after Ani, trying to match the other girls pace so they wouldn't startle the ghoul, yet perhaps get there in time before the ghoul finished his victim off.
(You could find Rainbowcherry's ghoul) Ketsueki
"Dont worry, this'll only hurt.. A LOT." I said, laughing sadistically.
My eyes glinted with no sign of pity as the girl's eyes widened.
I slowly began to tear chunks of flesh out of her leg, a brilliant array of bright red blood spraying everywhere.
"We have to stay low, who knows what'll happen if we're noticed," Ani whispered to the girl, rounding a corner and seeing a ghoul feeding on a girl's body. The short girl gagged in her motuh - she would never get used to the signt of blood, no matter how many times she saw it. She looked back hesitantly to Alee behind her, as if asking if she really wanted to do this. She then looked back and got just a bit closer to the ghoul, keeping about a ten-foot distance in between her and her partner and the merciless ghoul.
"Excuse us! Could you step away from that girl, please? You're hurting her."
Ketsueki
He looked up and wiped the blood from his mouth, giving a harsh little laugh.
"I'm afraid that isn't possible. I'm actually surprised that you haven't ran away and called the CCG yet."
He said, oblivious to the fact that they were the CCG.
He them looked down and continued tearing flesh, while the girl screeched in pain.
Alee gave a nod in response to Ani to let her know that she wanted to go through with it, the petite girl just couldn't live with herself if she just allowed this ghoul to get away with murdering someone, she had more humanity and guilt that wouldn't allow her to abandon someone like that, even if she felt fear consuming her entire being.
"W-We're noticed.." Alee gulped, she tried to contain her fear yet her body was visibly shaking as she then called out to the ghoul "We are the CCG! your failure to heed our warning gives us permission to engage, prepare yourself, g-ghoul!" Alee stuttered on her words, yet she tried to sound intimidating which was probably a failed attempt.
Dropping the suitcase she had been carrying, Alee kicked it open by tapping the release button with her shoe and once open immediately the brunette ducked down, scooping up a silver looking bat from the case and holding it up to examine it.
The bat glistened under the street lamp and looked pretty to some degree, although the appearance would evidently change once activated, the bat looked pristine and like any other at the moment.
"This is my first time actually using this.. but we should be fine, come on, Ani!" Alee exclaimed, readying her weapon as she began to lightly smack the bat against the palm of her empty hand as a baseball player might before they were ready to hit a home run.
He laughed maniacally and slowly his rinkaku began to emerge from his back.
"What a shame, you guys are so cute." He spat the word, as if it were poison on his tongue.
He then cracked his knuckles intimidatingly.
Ani stared at the ghoul blankly at calling them cute, reaching into her apron pocket and pulling out a small briefcase eerily calm, and snapping it open patiently and pulled out two seemingly harmless steel sticks. With two flicks of her fingers, the steel fans emerged from the steel, revealing sharp and jagged blades glistening on the fans. "Do you want to hit first?" Ani smiled, holding the fans to her chest and began to approach the girl who was being eaten - hoping and praying she was alive but listening for Alee's answer.
It was honestly terrifying to see something so abnormal, yet Alee knew her training would come in handy in a situation like this. and seeing as Ani unleashed her quinque, Alee knew she it was time to face the blood thirsty monster that was in front of them.
"I'll go in first! we have to save her.. and make sure he doesn't leave here in o-one piece." Alee stuttered out, catching her breath as she tried to regain her composure, trembling like this was no way to appear in front of a ghoul, and he even mocked them by calling them cute, Alee knew she had to control herself and try her hardest to remain calm, if they defeated him in time, they could save the woman.
"You'll regret not heeding our warnings!" Alee exclaimed, suddenly her soft taps against her empty palm became a rough smack, the friction against her baseball bat caused the quinque to reveal it's true form as dark purple and pulsating spikes emerged from the silver baseball bat, Alee smiled pleased with not accidently stabbing herself as she clumsily did the first time she activated her quinque.
The petite girl was quick to thrust the bat in front of her, and charged forward to towards the ghoul to take the first strike and also to try to rush him off of the girl he was devouring, Alee knew her abilities weren't that good, but her own virtue if any would be how fast she was, and she wasted no time in sprinting forth quick on her feet, then swinging her spiked bite forwards in an attempt to smash it against the side of the ghoul's face.
