We all know that Tom Nook runs the local store in every town and is a huge success, yet Crazy Redd is just a traveler running a black market with outragously high prices. But....how did this all start? That's what this fic'll cover.

Chapter 1

A young fox got out of bed. He checked his clock and saw it was 7:20. "No I overslept again I'm gonna be late for school." he thought in his head. As fast as he could, he got ready and went out the door.

Upon arriving in his class and after getting scolded by the teacher for being late, he sat down and began the exam they were supposed to take today. "Ugh......I forget the Distributive Property......I'm never gonna finish this" he thought. He looked across the room and saw his school rival, Tom, seeming to have no trouble at all with it. Anger boiled inside him. How he longed to beat Tom at something for once.....

When this young fox walked home from school he always had to pass the local store called Nook's Cranny run by Tom's father, Timothy. The anger was boiling in him again. His father was a plumber.

"I will beat Tom at something if it's the last thing I ever do" he thought as he entered his house.

-claps- That makes since for when they compete. Because Redd has higher prices so he can up grade his place from a tent, and trying to find someone that'll buy from him, which is YOUR character in Animal Crossing. But that was a good 1 chapter story.
