TT question & gyroids

Hi all! I'm super late to the update party, I had to take a long break due to some life reasons. But I'm back on it, and I must say, so far the 2.0 update is making the game feel brand new!!!

I've played several days already, and I'm really loving the gyroids. Here's my dilemna: looking back, I realized I missed the day of the dead DLC, so despite logging on in real time for many days, I want to travel back in time to late October.

My question is, does that mess up my gyroid production? So far, all the gyroids I'm getting, there are no repeats. So I'm guessing the game is only giving me the ones I don't have. Thanks for any insights!

I think you've just gotten lucky with gyroids to not get doubles so far, I don't think there's a mechanic to guarantee new ones.

I've gone back to October and travelled around, and have gotten duplicates (I do not have all of the gyroids yet), so it's definitely just luck!

You've been really lucky so far, but don't worry about getting repeats. When you do get repeats, just go to Cyrus and customise them for different colour variations.
