Turkey Day 2021 -spoilers

For the people surprised or disappointed at no new holiday items ... this is going to be the norm after toy day.

This is what has always happened in the other games.

Don't expect more, this is what we've been given. Play the events or don't, it's just like what you'd do in NL or any other AC game now. I know they set a precedent by adding stuff to easter and stuff, but it's only because they didn't finish everything in time like they planned so they threw us a bone.

Is it bad if i say i wished for more bones 🍖 😅

But yeah, i get what you are saying, but i still want my 🍖😂

a bit surprised that people were expecting new items, since animal crossing has never really deviated on events in any of the past games.

i wasn't really expecting new items, as it was my first time doing the event :>

Don't we all, lol. 🦭
Especially skeleton shaped .......
( it would be neat to have a skeleton we could customize into the shape of each species, actually. Maybe next installment?? )

I was saddened that the prize for completing the turkey day event hasn't changed even quite soon after a major update, i still enjoyed playing but if it is like this every year now there are no more updates it will get a bit stale for me….

I agree but I think people just kinda got their hopes up on the concept of having something new every year since it seemed to be advertised of having new things to discover for around 3 years. But they did say when the 2.0 update and DLC came out that they are done. Don't expect any more except for patches.

Honestly it would be nice if Nintendo did make games, and just built on to them over time instead of coming out with new ones every few years like a large MMO PC game. That isn't Nintendo's style and I am not sure it ever will be.
