Is there a way to make everyone's posts the default text and style? Squinting my eyes to read tiny "kawaii" font is beginning to slaughter my eyes. I can always just skip their posts but I don't want to have to do that.

Unfortunately not. I'd be lying if I said that reading tiny pastel words didn't also cause me a fair bit of eye strain, but there's no plans to allow an option to filter it or anything of the sort. You can always highlight the text which makes it slightly easier on the optic nerves, but that's about all that can be done.

I usually just ignore the post entirely, but what I found also helps is to click the "Reply With Quote" and you can just see it all in the regular font.

This certainly should be a feature, although I doubt it's possible. I can't stand it when people use these ridiculous fonts.

they have the right to do that, even of one chooses to use white text it's their choice because the option is available and they aren't breaking any rules. yes sometimes they choose colours and fonts that are unpleasant but you can always tell them that politely because in the end it's really none of your business

It's especially troublesome for people who have reading disabilities. I don't really see the point of even using "cute kawaii pastel tiny font." I mean, maybe they find it cute personally, but for the majority of readers it's an eyesore and it's quite silly that someone has to copy/paste their post just to read it.
Yeah, it's their choice in the end, but it's still a really dumb and straining one. I know the mods can't force them not to, but it'd be nice if some users could realize that their ~cute~ fonts aren't cute to the people trying to read them. :/
Yeah... we need this... when I have a migraine that I just have to deal with and I see it, I just scroll past it. Like if I ever opened up a giveaway or shop and someone used text like this color, size and font, then I'd probably just end up ignoring it, especially since I'm gonna have to start asking people not to do it now. //lays down

We're not doing anything official about this, but if it really is an issue for you, you can do this manually.
Visit this page to install the "Stylebot" addon for Google Chrome.
Once installed, visit this page and click the "Install Style in Stylebot" button at the top of the page.
When installed, visit The Bell Tree and while the addon is enabled all of your font should be displayed at a normal size, in normal colours. Bare in mind when using this it also means you won't see any bigger font or any normal coloured font. Everything will be default size with default colour.
