I cant believe this thread is still going. And I also cannot believe that so many people do not know how to type. The best way to do it is to look away. You can also take a piece of paper and cover the keyboard and hands. You can also take scotch tape and cover each letter if you wanted. Also take 2 coins and put one on each of your hands. This will help with your hand and finger position while typing. When I was young, I couldnt type. I used typing class to play Doom 2. But since then I have excelled in my typing. I can now type 130 words a minute. And that is all without error and without looking. Anyways, this was all done with my eyes closed. I'm not going to bother giving you a translation because I know it is perfect.

Heh, wow. I thought I was good with my 100 WPM, and I still make a few typos now and again when my fingers get ahead of themselves :P

But I agree, people really need to learn how to type.

100 words a minute is actually really good. I know when I was in typing class I could barely type 40 words a minute, with errors everywhere when I was in 9th grade. But I ended up taking another typing class when I was in 12th grade. I had the same teacher as 4 years prior. But the only difference was I had learned how to type. In 12th grade I was typing 106 words a minute without error. The teacher nearly fell over. She said that I was the fastest typer she had ever seen in her class. Also with the best improvement she has ever seen. I tried to tell her that I learned to type since I was out of her class, but she insisted it was because of her.
