Saw my first UFO flying over town on Explorer's Day. Does that day have any significance? How do I shoot it down for it seems to appear rather fast. Also any topices/guides on the UFO? All/Any info would be appreciated.

You never watched the animie, or read the guide book? Gulliver is in there. You get stuff if you knock him down then find five space ship parts.

You never watched the animie, or read the guide book? Gulliver is in there. You get stuff if you knock him down then find five space ship parts.

Mitura's talking about City Folk, not Wild World. Gulliver may fly over your town within the 1st 10 minutes of any hour which end in 2 or 7 (for example: 11:07am). A Slingshot is required to shoot him down (but the Silver and Gold Slingshots will grant you a better chance of hitting him).

Instead of crash-landing on a random signpost like in Wild World, Gulliver's UFO will "explode" upon hitting him successfully and will fly off (his UFO will appear damaged at this point). Look around the area that you shot him in and you should find a single spaceship part (not 5 this time...).

You won't see him at all until the next day though. When the next day arrives, look out for him on your beach and he'll give you a very valuable item!

Edit: Gah, I forgot to mention that Gulliver randomly appears in between Monday-Thursday.

I've had City Folk for nearly a year now, and I still have yet to see Gulliver. By this time with Wild World, I had shot him down five or six times and had two Metroids. v_v
