I'm fine that they curse. It doesn't bother me. In fact, they could do it all they want. I DONT CARE. In fact, my parents do it in front of me all the time. (Yes, I happen to hear the f-bomb alot at home) But that's not the point of the post. That wasn't my concern. It was just the fact that they went on Animal Crossing wifi, the home of 12 year old s and up, and just flat out be rude like that. The point was that they were just weirdly unpleasant to someone they don't even know. The cursing part was a bonus. SO don't think I'm new to the whole cursing thing. I was just surprised they did it on Nintendo wifi. I can understand Xbox Live or PSN.

Just becuase Nintendo has a younger audience, that dosent mean I have to be on constant watch of what i say or do. They werent being rude either, just stupid. Theres a difference. Somebody who is stupid dosent know what there doing as apposed to someone who is rude and knows what they are saying in order to hurt someones feelings.

Ok then they were acting stupid, but it still annoyed the crap out of me. I'm just not going back to Quinten's town...

true that, i dont really find cussing bad, its "bad" because christians protrayed it as bads when the words have completely different meanings such as Poo, Boy without a father, Sex, Female Dog, Banished. these are the true meanings of curse words if you can figure out which is which alot of words that are used to make fun of people and stuff have completely different meanings

well nintendo puts that message at the beginning so that they don't have to be responsible for anything that happens over wiispeak, which is legally smart as a company.

as for people going ahead and saying negative and derogatory things, it's the lack of respect that i'm not ok with, swear words or not. it seems like the right thing to do is make sure you're playing with people that won't be offended by the language and/or anything else you say. i dunno, it seems fair that way to me.

i think the words you're using at the end depend on how the person is going to interpret them, and at least in the states those words no longer mean those things, an overwhelmingly large majority of the time.

an entire subculture now self-identifies with the first two words, but as for the last one, i mean.. unless you are actually from great britain, you wouldn't realistically be using it to mean cigarette, so it's instead going to be seen as a highly pejorative word with a highly pejorative connotation.
