Hello everyone!
This’ll be my first post on these forums in a good few years and I don’t think I’ve asked questions here before so sorry if these have already been answered or if I’m being a bit dim.
So I’ve been playing AC very slowly because I have finals soon and as a result I’m quite behind on the villager cycling knowledge. So I have three questions:
Today Teddy has the “I’m thinking of leaving” thought bubble and upon speaking to him, I turned my game off because I don’t want him to leave and I want to a different villager to have the thought bubble tomorrow. I’ve heard on a few videos that this is a technique. I wondered if, once I knew a villager was considering moving out, I could continue playing the game for a few hours getting daily nook miles without interrupting this process (e.g., Teddy going inside or to bed and then the thought bubble disappearing) and not getting a different villager to want to move out tomorrow? A bit of a paranoia question, but I prefer not to time travel so I don’t wanna mess this up and have to wait for another villager to move out.
Secondly, I wondered if you can invite villagers to your island from Mystery Tours when I have space in my town (i.e. I have 6 villagers) but no open plot? I see in the FAQ that it says you can’t so I assume not, but I’d like to check that this is also the case when I basically have no villagers aha
Finally, I wondered if there was a detailed guide with a little more information than the FAQ to all this anywhere on the forum that I’ve (probably very obviously) missed? I will have so many silly little questions like this in the future and don’t want to bother anyone with them! Does any such villager cycling guide exist that included non TT options/do you think it would be possible for the community to make one?
Thanks so much guys! Sorry if these are obvious questions: I just submitted important coursework a few hours ago and I’m currently in a dazed, confused and stressed state so am not really thinking straight. Hope everyone has a nice day!
