Villager Houses

Do villagers have the same exact houses based on their personality type? I posted a photo on tumblr hanging out in Flora's house and saw someone post in another peppy characters house AND THEY WERE EXACTLY THE SAME. I was admiring how cute Flora's house was and now it doesn't seem as special..... idk I hope it's not true or that it's so we can customize their homes ourselves? Trying to keep an open mind. Let me know if this is true or not!

yea. all villagers of the same personality type seem to have the same house. i saw a house for a peppy villager on reddit that looked exactly like cookie's and a bunch of ppl were saying that their peppy villagers have the same house in the comments. i think the outsides are different but the insides are the same. idk why they did that? maybe u can redecorate ur villager's houses if u get high enough friendship??

I was thinking maybe we would have to unlock their furniture? Rowan taught me the DIY to make a jungle floor and wallpaper so I feel like that's what he's "meant" to have but maybe the game allows you to plan their homes while also learning DIYs?

that could be it. i know that when u get high enough friendship with ur villagers, u can gift them something every day. maybe we can gift them furniture, and they're guaranteed to put it in their house? i gave kody a fish because he asked for one, and when i visited him later on that day he displayed it on a dresser in his house.

Were they starter villagers for you? Because Bones and Zucker (both island-caught villagers for me) have very different houses.

Interesting! Nobody who's moved into my village since the campsite was put in has had..."basic DIY sets", shall we say. At least Phoebe made hers colorful.

My Bianca have the same house interior than pictured but I have Flora and her house is very different than your Flora's house !

ahhhh okay so maybe only the first of each personality type have more basic items! That's a relief

Audie has a completely different interior to Tangy, and Marina has a completely different interior to Coco on my island. However Tangy was the game programmed peppy villager who moved in, and she has the same house as the peppy villager on my boyfriend’s island. So, from my understanding, the villagers who you have to build furniture for will have the same interior across other games. I could be wrong though!

Okay that's great news! I'm thinking because she's my first peppy to be on my island she is supposed to have this setup
