Those working to find their dream villagers will be happy to hear that our villager trading board is up and running!

If you've somehow managed to noticed the slightly long name however, I think you'll realize we're having a bit of an issue naming it. This is where you folks come in! Visit our little poll and help us decide on a name to stick with.

EDIT: On another note, if you have any existing unresolved villager exchanging threads in Re-Tail, report 'em! We'll be sure to move them when we see it.

I love it, but I'm not quite fond of the giveaway/exchange thread being closed. :x Will they remain closed threads?

I feel that without them, then a lot of villagers who need to be TT'd out will go unnoticed.
I also do like that people can look through signatures and help eachother out! (I've gotten contacted about Muffy because others led them to me, which I feel is useful because I simply had her in my signature.)

It feels that the place is actually much more unorganized because now people have to post for each villager as a thread, and not simply in the exchange/giveaway threads. Not to cause any trouble, but, I felt that I needed to state this! Hopefully I'm not the only one ah;

I kind of like it, but I'm more fond of the villager giveaway thread because it was more organized, and easier to find good homes for villagers.

Will they be re-made? Like what rivulet stated; it felt more organized, easier to find good villagers, and it was a community. A lot of people helped eachother to get their dream villagers.

I hope you guys take this into mind. I was recommended to come onto this site because I was told that the community can help with getting dreamies - mainly from the giveaway thread. I checked it everyday in case I remember someone wanting a villager that someone else was giving out.

I just feel like, without them, I really have nothing left to do on this site. There's less of a chance for someone to see a thread of me looking for, say, Fauna and Marshal, than it is to post in a thread that many people checked daily. I also enjoyed knowing who was who and knowing that people led others to me because they wanted Muffy! I have school, so it's impossible for me to constantly check now - but posting in that thread allowed for many people to see it. Creating a thread just gets buried unless people bump it.

I just hope you guys take this into consideration! I don't mean to complain - I'm glad you all are working hard to do this, but locking the exchange/giveaway thread just doesn't feel okay.

There is a "Looking For" thread in that board that is going to be used for that. There won't be multiple threads of people looking for villagers, just multiple threads for people to giveaway, sell, and trade. So I hope that clears up any confusion anyone might have. The "Looking For" thread is the new place to post which ones you are looking for.
