Villager themes ideas

I have most of my villagers for their personalities and because their interiors fit my space/ zodiac island theme.
Elvis, Julian and Aurora have zodiac items in their homes and Ruby, Octavian, and Filbert have space themed interiors.

I would like to have villagers which would fit to a space/alien theme. Problem is, I don't know who could fit to such a theme the best. Right now, I only have the ranger villagers in mind and Candi, since she looks like as if she has four eyes which kinda makes her look like a alien mouse imo. :/

I love the idea of a Lisa Frank island so much!

My villager theme is the complete opposite though; I have sort of a monochromatic goth thing going on so I'm trying to have villagers that are (mostly) black/white and also a bit spooky/odd-looking. I currently have:

Raddle
Muffy
Lucky
Kiki
Roscoe
Rodeo
Bella
Tia (maybe not so much on the spooky side but I tend to think of her as a kind of haunted teapot creature a la Polteageist from Pokemon)
Fang

and Marshal who's adorable but doesn't really fit. I'm thinking of trying to find Mathilda or Tasha to replace him eventually.

I'm not as fussed about their house exteriors fitting in though bc I feel like that would just be too stressful on top of the other restrictions lol. I kinda wish we could design the exteriors of their houses in this game. I mean we already get to pick where they live so I don't think it would be such a stretch to be able to build their houses from scratch.

I think it would be cool, but so many of the villagers I love don't really go together/belong in one theme. I have a tropical themed island right now and while I would love to have all tropical villagers, I couldn't let go of the villagers I have now

what about Cleo? I just saw her in pocket camp, and she is cute but pretty weird! Her eyes look kind of like alien eyes, plus she is a purple horse!

I get really attached to villagers so unfortunately i’m unable to let go of some villagers that currently live on my island. For this reason, I haven’t gotten villagers of a similar theme however this is also because my island doesn’t have a particular theme either.

My island is a nautical themed town that's a little run down and rusty, so my villagers reflect that sort of theme I'm going for. They're grouped by color (Blue and white for the nautical theme and brown for the rusty part) but they're also grouped by what their looks represent as well. Rod, Del, Jacques, and Piper are very nautical (since Rod is a pirate, Del is based on a navy ship, Jacques for his beanie and his namesake, Jacques Cousteau, and Piper looks like seagull). Tiffany is kind of racy with her fishnet stockings, which fits perfectly for a town with sailors. Elmer looks like a sad, tired horse, which fits a town that's seen better days. And I have more guys than girls on my island because it's a sailing, working class town.

So sometimes it's also what kind of story your villagers tell too. It's honestly a lot of fun!

I thought about how there were Lisa Frank Lacking islands when I got Megan on my last island and gave her the space parka. She looks great in it and reminds me of Lisa Frank stuff right off the bat.
Which btw, if anyone does have a Lisa Frank Island or has found one, please send the DA my way!!

i hade a kidcore island and want only colorful villagers for that island. on my other island i don't really care, i just invite whoever i like.

I don't like to theme my villagers, or even look for specific ones, I just get too attached to who I have.

However, one idea I've had that I'm sure I'll never go through with, is to go based on each villager's name. My island is called Solfège, and I always thought it would be really cute to have one villager for each note of the scale (do, re, me, fa, etc.). However, it gets a little complicated trying to make sure personalities don't get repeated too often (normal is a common one with this theme), and there isn't anyone with a name that starts with "La."

Maybe one day in the future this will be more possible, but until then, I don't actually care enough to give it a shot haha.

Hope this merges nicely, sorry for the double post, but I also just though of another dumb theme lol. Not sure if there are even enough to fully fill it out.

Villagers whose names are homonyms! You'd have Renee and Reneigh, Poppy and Papi, and... That's as much as I can think lol. I guess you could throw in names that are similar, like Annalise and Annalisa.

Sorry, not a terribly interesting theme, just one I thought of and haven't seen before.
