So I was forced to restart yet again. Why?
Well, the reason is that I was getting married last August (YAY!). I ended up getting so stressed out over the wedding that I completely forgot about my game until after the wedding and by then, all of my perfect fruit was rotten, leaving me pretty much in the same predicament I was in with my first town -- AKA -- swimming in debt. Because of that, I started a new town called Unknown with a mayor named Eliza.
There really is no set theme for the town of Unknown currently, although I am attempting to set up a small horror themed room in my house in time for Halloween so my friends can come visit me and enjoy that. And who knows? If I like it, I may keep it, but seeing as I'm afraid of my own shadow, those odds aren't very high >.<
Anyway, to get to the point of this post, I am currently attempting to move out two of my villagers without TTing. Yes, yes, I realize that ignoring them into depression until they move away takes way, way longer than the TT method, but it also doesn't corrupt my game or run the risk of doing so. I'm actually quite fond of Unknown and Eliza, so I'm simply not willing to take the risk of corrupting my game. Hell, I even let Ed move in after he plopped his house down in the spot I was gonna put a bridge in.
The villagers I'm trying to get rid of at the moment are Rowan (Jock) and Naomi (Snooty). Those are the only two I'm actively trying to get rid of and I will post when (hopefully not if) they ask to move out. I'll also post if any of the other villagers ask to move out, except for Ribbot, just in case anyone wants them in their town.
The reason I'm trying to get rid of Rowan and Naomi, though, is simply because they aren't part my dream team for the town and I would like to replace their houses with PwPs. Honestly, though, I would consider keeping Rowan if his house wasn't in the spot I wanted to put my camp site in.
One other thing is, I am willing to trade to get my dream villagers, but earlier today it was mentioned in the forums that some people might try to trade "dupe villagers". I just wanted to make it clear that I will not trade for any duplicate, fake villagers. If someone wants to trade me one of my dream villagers for whoever the heck just happens to be in my village because they simply MUST have them, fine. Just PM me or shoot me a message via Spotspass if you added me on your 3DS and let me know. The only thing I ask is that the villager you are giving to me or trading me or asking me to buy or whatever BE REAL. That is it. I'm not gonna give or trade anyone a fake villager, so don't give one to me. That's all.
