Villagers thinking and...then forgetting.

Not sure if this was here before, probably was haha, but I'm trying to move out Raddle and I think it's working but...then he forgets and the conversation ends. This happened with Fauna too (I didnt want her to move though)

Is there a specific reason why this keeps happening? It's really frustrating..

Villagers don't only think when they're moving. They will also think for other reasons, such as wanting to sell you or gift you something...or as you've figured out, to pointlessly forget something.

Well yeah, I know that haha I was just wondering if there a certain thing that triggers them to forget

Reneigh did this yesterday and I was scared she wanted to move out or something, and she wasn't telling me right away. Seems to be just something to add more personality to the villagers, which I appreciate.
