Visiting npcs and time travelling

I had flick in my town last week,Thursday I think. I tried to go back and find him again today to get a model but no matter what day I go to he doesn't show up. Does time travelling change the npcs who show up? Does it just change the day they show up or just change all the visitors? Thanks

Hey there, I believe when you roll your game over to the next week, the last one randomizes.

Like Firesquids said if there is a special character visiting if you want to use their service it's best to do it before time traveling because if you time travel even a slight bit and then go back it will still reset the special character and make a different one spawn

On a related note, Harv's island changes each Monday so if Saharah or Kicks had that one item that you wanted to go back for but forgot, it's a no go if you change the date around then.
