I give it 7/10 wiimotes...
Graphics: Cartoony. The cut-scenes are very well done with a cartoon feel, but there lacks a certain reality to it - voices... They have great animation, but you have to read the white letters at the bottom, while keeping up with the cartoon. The in-game graphics are okay and they are somewhat identical to the cut-scenes
Controls: In this game, you use the wiimote sideways. The D-Pad (+) is what you use to move. As in most games with sideways controls, the (A) and (B) don't do much. The (1) and the (2) are your main controls. When you come across a bag, you grab it and shake it, causing many coins to go flying everywhere... When you come across an enemy, you can either: (a) stomp on it then grab it and shake it, occasionally causing either a big or a little piece of garlic to fly out. (b) dash and ram it with (1) causing it to take a short flight, and maybe even smash into a wall, then vanishing.
Gameplay: The gameplay is okay, you (the plot as always with Nintendo these days), try and save the beautiful princess whom the giant freaky dude/king kidnaps. But Wario's in it mostly for the treasure... So you set off after the king, trying to get the treasure (and yes, even the princess, who surprisingly looks a bit like Saria from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time).
Is it worth it: Well, despite all of that cool stuff up there, there are some downsides. Only five main worlds, and once you're done, you get free roam. But that's pretty much it. It's a good fun game, but the levels are too short, and too easy, which is why they insert missions to do along the way, like "take no damage" or "don't break the unicart". It is almost too easy, unless you're a perfectionist up for a repeat of the same level, over and over again... Is it a fun game? Yes. Is it worth your money? Well... I'd rather rent it. But if you want to base your own opinion, try doing the same...
