I don?t even know why there?s two words for it, but anyway which one do you usually say? Or do you call it something else?

I can already assume most people switch between bathroom and washroom, and I do too. But I find myself saying ?bathroom? more often.

I never really heard of the term washroom being used where I live www

You got this idea from my "dinner" and "supper" thread, didn't you?:p
I definitely say "bathroom" more out of these two because I don't think "washroom" is common in the US. But I almost always say "restroom" because "bathroom" isn't nearly quite as polite as "restroom".

I use both. Always say bathroom when at home and sometimes, I say washroom when referring to public restrooms.

I'm the only one who voted washroom? Omk I thought it was way more common but apparently not
"Bathroom" sounds weird to me sorry guys

I tend to use "bathroom", but I'll occasionally say "washroom". And "washroom" tends to make more sense for public washrooms anyways since they don't tend to have baths, but you can wash your hands.

literally everyone i know says washroom, so i'm really shocked that only one other person voted it.

there r many words for it but lol i meant 2 vote other instead of both because i say toilet, restroom and bathroom dfgghj

It depends where I am? If I'm at someone's living residence, I say bathroom. If I'm out in public, I say restroom. No one including myself ever uses washroom, but I've seen people call it that over the internet. Is this a regional thing? I'm kinda curious now

I usually use bathroom or toilet, and never use washroom. I think bathroom sounds nicer than toilet, so I use that with non-close friends or in public.
