Wasp nest in every tree?

So I have some trees on my island that I bought from the shop as saplings (so not fruit trees) as well as some tree's that were money tree's but I took the money off of those. Every time I use an axe on one of these tree's a wasp nest comes out! I thought it was just coincidence at first, but it's happened multiple days in a row. This is 10+ trees all spawning a wasp nest!
Anyone know why this is happening, or how to get it to stop??

Lol in theory it's nice but I'm trying to harvest all my wood ): I don't want to spend loads of money on medicine every day so every time I hit a new tree I get sent back to my house!

Well... I don't necessarily have an answer as to why you have a wasp infestation. But I believe that hostile bugs don't spawn during online multiplayer. So if you open your gates, I believe that they won't fall? It's kind of tedious to do so, but you could give that a shot for a few days?

And they only fall out if using an axe? If you switch to a net from an axe, you should still be able catch the wasp if done quick enough. Don't use tool ring, just keep net to the left or right of your axe. A wasp (with nest) should sell for more than a peacock butterfly , so this sounds like a dream come true if I was in this situation.

Hazardous bugs still spawn with the gates open (As long as no one is there). I was standing waiting for a friend to join and I had a tarantula walk right past me. And dang it, as i went to go catch it, my friend joined and ruined it.

Hazardous bugs still spawn with the gates open (As long as no one is there). I was standing waiting for a friend to join and I had a tarantula walk right past me. And dang it, as i went to go catch it, my friend joined and ruined it.

I'll give that a go! Just annoying having to do it for every single tree

That's what I thought but I've had over 10 spawning in a row every single day!

As far as I know there's around 5 wasp nests spawn every day in non-fruit trees. Collecting wasps is a part of my everyday routine xd
But 10??? Something is not right

I've found five wasp nests every day for the past couple of weeks. If you're getting more than five, something is definitely wrong.

I always have exactly 5 wasp nests in my trees. More than 10 a day sounds pretty annoying haha.

You don't need to use any medicine. You catch them with the net. They are worth $2,500!

Wasps will fall in multiplayer.

I don't know how this is possible. If it's happening, it might be a bug (haha, bug). Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure the way trees work is; 5 are guaranteed wasps, 10 are 100 bell coins, and 2 are furniture. Every other tree after that should be sticks and whatnot. So if you have less than 17 trees on your island, it's a random mix of those.

EDIT: I would like to add that I think that is if you are shaking them. I don't believe furniture or bells fall if you use an axe.

I get 5 each and every day.. I shake my trees until I get all 5 and both furniture items then I sop shaking them and start harvesting the wood...

you get 5 wasps a day you could buy some party poppers and pop them at the wasps to get rid of them that way.
