Weird glitch where Stitches wasn't at home but was

Today I had someone come in for signatures. When we got to Stitches' house, she couldn't go inside even though the lights were on and Stitches was inside his house. I even went in to check and he was in the house. For some reason, the person grabbing signatures couldn't enter Stitches' house. Has this happen to anyone?

Is he sick? I know when a villager is sick and there's a visitor in town they won't be able to enter the villager's house.

Nope, he wasn't sick. He was very healthy.

That is odd. I think when a villager is sick and someone comes over, there's a message on the door explaining that they're sick and can't have company. But I have no idea why they wouldn't be able to enter Stitches' house if he was inside and feeling well. We all know there are no locks on the doors. LOL

Come to think of it, this is the second time this week I've seen a thread about a glitch that involves Stitches. The other one had a screenshot of Stitches standing on a cliff during or just after a PWP ceremony. That is one crazy cub!

I just saw this. Really now? Stitches is getting wild over here! I would've thought that it would tell the person that they were sick, but all I was told was that they just weren't able to come inside. My theory on this was that the wifi wasn't that good and Stitches didn't load properly, but I'm not a tech genius so I might be saying some crazy things myself.

True! One time rocket was completely missing in someone else's town when I had her and they did as well

Two people should try an experiment. Make sure you both have a common character. That you both have [Name] character. One of you visits the other's town. See if you can visit that villager (who is also in your town).

Hmm I honestly have no idea. I've gone to other towns with Bluebear and I have her in my town. I've been able to see her outside and inside and get signatures. However, I would like to see if getting someone's signature from another town prevents you from seeing that villager in the next town you go to with that same villager.

Maybe I will try and see if some people in the train station would love to do this when I get someone else asking for signatures.

You know how when you visit a dream and you see a villager who lives in your town, the dream villager knows you? Is it that way when you met Bluebear or was she a stranger? (I'm guessing she didn't know you.)
