It's been about 5 years since I've stopped playing and being active on this forum so I feel kind of brand new here o_O.

I was wondering if anyone would be able to explain to me the use of TBT bells and collectables? When I see a lot of threads they post something about the date of the collectable too, is that of any importance?

Does it matter if I deposit my bells into the ABD?

I've searched for quite a bit to see if there's any thread/forum explaining this, but I'm a bit blind so I haven't been able to find it on my own 😅If someone could explain all this or send me a link that does so I would greatly appreciate it!!

Thank you in advance! :)

tbt bells are the bells displayed on your sidebar. you earn them from posting, and also from selling animal crossing items/villagers or collectibles. you can use them to buy the same things, of course.

collectibles are the little pictures also in the sidebar (like mine are the balloons/pinwheel/feathers) and they're literally just for exactly what it sounds like - collecting. there's no real point to them, they're just fun to display. you can check out this thread here to look at all the different ones as well as what they're worth. collectibles are arranged by date, so that's why people trade or look for ones with specific dates, that way they'll fit in a certain spot in their lineup.

way back in the day im fairly sure you used to gain interest from keeping bells in the ABD like you would in animal crossing, but i think staff discontinued that feature years ago bc it was getting abused.

let me know if i missed any of your questions! :^)

Oh I see now! :)

Thank you so much for explaining, I had all these collectables in my inventory and I was so confused 😂
