sorry for asking this question, i'm kinda new. i sort of know how to get and exchange tbt's but what can I get from these? what kind of stuff and where or how can I get them?

You can buy stuff with it from the "Shop" button just below the logo, from account enhancements to little collectibles that go under your avatar (like my birthstone collectibles). A lot of people use them to purchase in-game items and villagers. You get them by posting on the forum, offering services, and selling things!
I personally use BTB to purchase villagers and other stuff thorugh the forums. It's really efficient if you want to have your dreamies before starting to build up a town (which is impossible to get unless you invite them over to live at your town from a different town. Most villagers that you want out of the 333 animal pool probably won't move in to your place), and I need those villagers in my town asap so i can build already.
Other people use BTB to purchase collectibles and stuff that are forum items. I think the more BTB you earn, the easier it gets to you to earn the stuff you need.
