What are you doing to make the wait more bearable?

Over the past week I've been watching videos and followed the discussions on forums, Twitter and Discord, but I kinda try to avoid the clips that would spoil the beginning of the game too much for me. I still want to feel surprised when I hop off the plane, you know? Hehe...

I'm so eager to play New Horizons that I can't really bring myself to play anything else. Time flies and yet the days seem to pass by so slowly. I'd also like to do something Animal Crossing related, but there isn't much time left to think of something that requires preparation, like streaming, for example. I don't know, it's a weird phase for me at the moment.

i have a countdown calendar. as well as watching youtube videos and playing other games to fill the void

just made a timetable of sorts for myself for what I plan on working on in the library. the 19th has me waiting for my midnight release <3

Spending a lot of time here. I'm getting ready for a cross country move and had my last day at my job two days ago. Time is going super slow. I was playing Breath of The Wild for a while but I cant seem to focus.

My main strategy has been trying to do animal crossing things in real life. Dress up cute at home. Text friends. Be outside.Have a animal crossing mindset when I can?

Part of is just constantly throwing a fit why is it not out yet hah hah.

I alternate between unmanageable excitement and distracting myself with focusing on the things I need to 'get out the way' before the day, haha. Job, personal responsibilities, chores... check check check.

Everyone's right in that it feels like it's taking forever and yet somehow I've been feeling this way ever since the Direct dropped. It's so slow and yet the days seem to disappear.

just staring at the game's icon on my home menu until the 20th

I've been buying and playing way too many games. It's definitely helped my completion rate though, I've mowed through Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Tangle Tower, and I'm currently occupying myself with Rune Factory 4 Special. I've also been going through my Steam library to finish as many games as I can. It's spring break out where I live now and I've decided to take up some extra hours where I work. Extra money and a way to kill time while I'm waiting for Animal Crossing, time goes way too slow when I'm not doing anything! 。゜゜(?O`) ゜゜。

I've been picking up as many shifts as I can at work just to make it go by faster :<
I've also been out riding my horse, there's a lot we need to work on but I want to be able to give him breaks. I also picked up Mystery Dungeon yesterday, it was one of my favorites as a kid so I wanna finish it before New Horizons.

I'm playing a bit more pocket camp and new leaf to tide myself over... I'm also doing as much real-life work as I can so I can be guilt-free about spending time gaming when it comes out!!

I constantly feel this urge to engage with the game in some way, whether by talking about it, reading up on new info, or making plans for my Island.

Also, I?ve started almost obsessively coming up with Island names, despite already having known what to call mine for the past year. I?d share it, but feel a bit embarrassed by how long the list has gotten >.<?

I caught a chest cold, so I'm having fun getting over it. Making the wait much more bearable! /s

I've picked up Pocket Camp and New Leaf again - restarted PC and revisited my town that I hadn't touched in ~a year. Poor Lungwort, it was so full of weeds.

Living the life in quarantine, cleaning the apartment, writing my assignment and sewing a cloth ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm not an old lady I swear

Watching the world go mad over a new flu strain. :p
