What are you doing to pass the time before the game's release?

I'm very excited for the release of the game, and I think about it every day. I've been really wanting to invest myself in something AC related to help me pass the time.

I've started playing pocket camp because I never really gave it a chance and it has been pretty nice! I'm also planning on rewatching Chugga's play-through of AC: New Leaf because unfortunately I have not been able to locate my 3DS.

I've also just been playing a few Switch titles such as Pokemon Sword, Luigi's Mansion and Yoshi's Crafted World.

It does help to make time go quicker but I definitely feel anxious for March 20, 2020 to hurry up!

Uni work and getting drunk so i dont remember that I've been waiting so long : (

Im doing everything in my power to get every single gold badge. Except for the Streetpass one! Its made waiting much more bearable

Playing splatoon and pokemon!! I thought the wait would be unbearable but I have more than enough things in my life right now to occupy me. Although the new glimpses of the asset pics and characters hyped me up a lot!

I imagine what it's going to be like! I stalk information on youtube and here and when I think of anything, I contribute as much as I can ₍ᐢ⸝⸝› ̫ ‹⸝⸝ᐢ₎ ♡♡♡

Mostly browsing Discord and hanging out here on TBT. I'm trying my best to raise a lot of tbt on here so I have enough for collectibles and maybe some services if they have any here when New Horizons comes out. Other than that, just trying my best to relax and spend some quality time with my parents. I figured taking a break from Animal Crossing for awhile will be just the thing to get me back into it when New Horizons releases. I for one can't wait, because I'll have two other people who live close by me to play the game with, so it'll be lots of fun. :D

I've been working on a lot of self improvement during the wait. It's definitely not fun but eating better and exercising makes the days go by faster I guess. I also got a couple of games for Christmas I'm hoping will hold me over. Waiting isn't easy but we're closer to the release than we are to July when they announced the release date.

Well, I work full time and freelance on the side.

I won a Switch Lite at my work holiday party, so I've been playing Zelda BOTW and Baba is You. (Baba makes Brain Hurt)

I also got Nier Automata and The Outer Worlds for XMas. I have a bunch of games in my backlog too.

I have a bunch of books to read, and TV shows too. I've missed a lot of good stuff in the past, and theres always new stuff too.

I cant wait for animal crossing but I've also got a lot to do.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I installed Pocket Camp to complete an event on the forum, and I'm still playing.

Yes it's a cash grab, and I will uninstall it when New Horizons comes out, or before, but although I don't consider it a real AC game, it keeps me familiar with the old stuff, and helps me pass the time.

It has it's (limited) charms.

I draw Animal Crossing characters. Look at my signature to follow the link to the forum post where I share them.

Huh? I thought you weren't getting ACNH until they change the saving method of the switch, or change the design to avoid all possible failure points.

Has that changed?

I've never said to change the design or all failure points. o_O

I've said I want a secondary backup, and to get rid of autosave.

I've seen that in action in PC, and if you make a mistake, too bad because it's autosaved.

I hope they have this feature optional.

I have been playing a lot of planet zoo, and watching hulu when i can. I stopped playing NL awhile ago the graffics kill me now that i see what is coming out. And compaired to other games i play

I am going to be playing Luigi's Mansion 3!

honestly if the auto saves work like BOTW does where it's just a file separate from main saves, ill be fine...but we are all uneasy

I hope it can be turned off.

I don't like PC, but it's passing time, and I installed it for the event on the forum. Then I began to see how autosave worked.

I was growing blue tulips, and waited hours for it, and I hit harvest instead of Xpollinate. And it freaking autosaved.

I can't play New Horizons that way. I know myself and my limits.

I'd end up hurling the console into a wall, so I really hope it's not a 'set in stone' feature.

Honestly, I'm just going to go about life regularly while maybe visiting the forum every now and again to fill the animal crossing shaped hole in my heart.

I don't want to accidentally burn myself out by playing NL, but now that the game is getting closer, I'm just craving information and talk about animal crossing, so I figure what's best for me is to avoid playing the game, but still remaining excited by hearing what people have to say and participating in some discussions.

Playing Stardew Valley for now. I also recently bought a couple games on amazon I'm excited to play.
