What are you going to use your other character houses for?

I'm not sure what all unorderable items you are talking about but there are over 800 unorderable items in the game. I've done the math lol. Gracie alone has almost 200.

They never said they wanted to walk around the house.

Actually can you store items in the Island box thing? So each mule character could have 220 (180 + island 40) spaces of storage, plus a house, storing in saved letters and their own pockets. Could probably be done.

Each character can have 180 in their dresser and 180 in their letters. The islands box can only be use for items caught/obtained on the island. You can't put stuff in it from your town. So that's 360 single items, plus 6 full rooms of items. Depending on how crammed you want it to be you could get most of the unorderable items on one character, but it would be impossible to move in the house, and it would be difficult rummaging through all that to find one specific item. I'm splitting mine up between 3 characters so I can keep better track of stuff, but that is just me.

I won't be making three other characters, or any other ones at all. ^^' If I do make another, it'll probably just be for storage.

With so much you can do to with your town in this game, gonna have to be really careful with how much space I take up with other characters

But isn't the island furniture unorderable. So you could technically keep it in there. xP
Though I doubt I'll manage to aquire all 800 items anyway, so it's not a pressing problem for me.

I think there's also tiki lamps that could work in a campsite. I'm sure I saw them in an advert or something.

I'm not ridiculously strict lol. Some may be used by any of the characters some can be stored by the second character too. Some I may not even buy if I don't like them! It's not that big a deal.
