What are you guys doing with each room?

I have this plan, but I can't even execute it because of the lack of furniture.

Main - living room
Back - kitchen
Left - bathroom
Right - office/study
Upstairs - bedroom

So far it's a bit of a mess and I'm only really happy with my main room.
I've 4 rooms at the moment - my main room is kind of like a studio apartment with a bed, a dining table, a study desk, my switch, a couch, some bookshelves, plants, my pet turtle and his litter box, etc.
My 2nd room is a big WIP but I eventually plan to turn it into a kitchen/dining room of sorts. I haven't been able to to come across a lot of kitchen furniture in the game so far and the recipes that I have require furniture parts I haven't come across yet either... lol
My 3rd room is a huge mess but I think I'll turn it into some kind of a study/relaxation room where I'll mount my non-existent TV. I was able to craft the large Book shelf today so I'm happy with that.
My 4th room is a bathroom/spa WIP. So far I have a toilet, a washer, a sink, a shower head and a vanity... but I'm not too happy because a lot of the items don't have matching colors. I also decorated it with some Sakura items, plants and fish but I still lack a bath tub. But I guess that's like the 2nd room that's coming together better after my main one.

I've only unlocked two extra rooms thus far, but my plans are as follows:

Main room: entry hallway/living room
Back: conservatory
Basement: bedroom
Upstairs: attic library/recreational room
Left: Workshop (creative stuff)
Right: ????

My only real plan at the moment is building out a maker's space/robotics lab in my basement.

Living room is the centre, kitchen to the right and bathroom to the left. Upstairs a bedroom/office combo and the back room is gonna be a workshop. The basement is to be decided.

I wanted to keep a small house (back room & left room) to match the look of the rest of the villagers; not having the extra storage is killing me but it's just too cute.
My main room is going to be a living room/kitchen, the left room is the bedroom and back room is the bathroom/laundry room.
