☾ I got through my two twelve hour shifts at work this weekend. My job isn't too physically demanding or stressful, so it ended up being easy. It wasn't busy either. ☾ I managed to hit overtime last night thanks to those two shifts. I have my normal schedule next week, but with two extra shifts in there so I can finally train as a cook. ☾ I was blessed with at least one of my balloons transforming (pun intended) into the transgender flag sweet colorway. Pink seems to be the most common new color. ☾ This may sound pathetic but I'm happy I have two real life friends that have been nothing but genuine to me. I wouldn't have met either of them without transferring to my current store. It feels nice to have people I don't have to worry about being fake. I haven't vibed so well with a group of people ever. These two are my best friends. ☾ I ended up stopping at Starbucks today to redeem my free handcrafted beverage. I'm somewhat of a regular, so the employees are generous with the foam.
- have some tea coming for our favorite kind while sick. Excited to try it over the brand I have been using
- managed to get some grocery shopping done with the toddler behaving long enough
- been getting studying in the past couple of days so I feel better/more productive towards my licensing exam for the new specialty I've been pursuing
Today was another great day off. We went to a new park with Aurora that was recommended to us by a friend. Aurora had a great time and got to play with a dog named marvel. We walked 2.7 miles.
I played some ACNL this afternoon. We went for a nice evening walk. My bestie came over with one of her dogs so Aurora could have playtime .

☾ I ordered another button and microfiber cloth after my appointment today!! ;v; Both are things that’ve been on my merch wishlist for years now, so I’m excited for when they’ll get here!

☾ Apparently the stuff I bought in New Leaf the other day was enough to push me over 80% catalog completion, so I finally got the badge for that!
☾ I played Cozy Grove again this afternoon! I caught a few rare bugs and completed some more quests, and now I’m mainly trying to chain enough lamps to access the second area, because base camp is starting to look a little cramped ahaha
☾ And my parents and I are all caught up with SmallishBeans’ Hermitcraft series for now!
- I pulled Chiori in Genshin Impact and even won 50/50 for her C1! I'm really loving her as a character so far. I wasn't initially expecting to use her a ton, but I love her combat!
- After exercising at the gym for 1-2 months now, I've lost 6 lbs, my muscle mass has gone up, and my total fat percentage has gone down. It was honestly a huge relief that all the efforts I've been putting in paid off, because I was worried that they weren't going to. I was expecting to lose maybe 1 or 2 lbs, but 6 is amazing and brings me much closer to my fitness goal.
My mom and I went to Walmart yesterday and I found the possum Easter squishmallow I’ve been wanting! He’s super cute and worth the money. He’s also HUGE. It was the last one Walmart had so I took it as a sign he was meant for me. My boyfriend named him Gary I honestly prefer naming my stuffed animals because sometimes their given names kinda suck.
even though he’s so much bigger than them, they’re all best friends
- I managed to find some laundry sheets at a small eco shop in my town! Amazing that they didn't have them at Asda but did there Super happy, I wanted to try them out for my upcoming trip. I figure they would also be useful for any future trips too.
- Had a lovely lunch with my friend at our regular cafe. The owner is super nice and the food is good too, so we always stop there.
- My friend also did me a huge favour by getting some GBP exchanged to PLN for me I tried to myself the other day but the currency exchange didn't have any zlotys until later in the week.

𓆑 I’ve been having a lot of fun with the New Leaf event! It’s been so lovely seeing the forums and the marketplace be so active again! The new balloon collectibles are so cute, and I’m so happy I’ve been able to get 2 of the ones (red and blue heart) I wanted so far! Praying for my 3rd heart balloon to turn into a sweet heart tonight!!
I participated in the first trivia session, and despite not playing New Leaf in over 6 years, I managed to make it to the top 5! I also submitted my Mayoral Memories entry, and it was accepted!! I haven’t gotten started on my Picture Perfect artwork yet, but I have an idea in mind for it, and am hoping to get started on it very soon!
𓆑 I’ve received a few incredible art commissions over the past few days!! I received my wonderful balloon YCH art from Yanrima~, my adorable chibi bust from Milleram, and my absolutely precious Fruit YCH art from Snowifer! I’m forever in awe of all the talent in this community, and am so grateful to all 3 incredible artists for accepting my commissions!! I’ll cherish my new artworks always!

𓆑 Bonk has been an absolute sweetheart the past few days! We’ve had plenty of play sessions together, and she’s blessed me with at least one cuddle every day since my last post. If no one else has me, I at least know my sweet little girl does!!
𓆑 I haven’t had as much time to dedicate to Cozy Grove as I normally do, but I’ve still been playing at least once every day and having fun! I’ve caught 8 new critters and 2 new fishes (including 3 mythicals!!), completed Captain Billweather’s pickle recipes and pastry recipes collections, got a young Spectral Lagomorph named Pegasus, earned 13 new badges, and completed the Entrepreneurship badge category!! Octavia also finally let me hug her!!! Had me tearing up and everything
𓆑 I finally figured out how to turn the screenshot shortcut on my iPad off! There’ve been so many times where I’ve been typing, and I’ve swiped up from the bottom left corner of my iPad’s screen and accidentally taken a screenshot. It was lowkey annoying, but I finally figured out how to turn that shortcut off, and it hasn’t happened since! I’m very happy about that.
Our new pet axolotls arrived in the morning! They're not yet named and the tank needs a lot of work. Please excuse the cloudiness, the sand has been newly added.
