I went through a drive thru for the first time and learned how to pay at one. It wasn't too bad. (It was more stressful getting back into the road after).

Slowly learning new things that scare me and overcoming anxiety.

☾ I commissioned fanart of my girl and I, and I'm in literal awe. MK looks so adorable?? Like, she's a fictional teenager from Total Drama, but I love her?!

☾ Speaking of Total Drama, I was playing Mario Kart earlier and encountered a Rodney mii! He's one of the lesser known characters, so this brought a smile to my face.

Spoiler: it took me a bit to connect the two but

☾ I tried strawberry mochi for the first time yesterday as we had some at work, and it was delicious. I decided to pick up the banana flavor for myself, and I’m looking forward to trying it. Banana is my favorite artificial flavor.
☾ I had an instance where I could’ve overreacted but I controlled my emotions. I am beating my BPD!
☾ The Los Angeles Kings won last night. One game at a time.

Heard a banjo player in the streets today which made me very happy. I love this instrument, the sound it makes, so I kept listening and tipped them what I had available because it turned my awful day into a good day.

I finished playing Oxen Free 2, and my god did I cry in the end. I felt so saddd
I kinda stopped playing after something happening in the game, and I felt so depressed, and had to stop. But now finally came back to finish off everything.It feels good to finish it~

☾ Submitted my photos for The Natural World today!! Really happy with how it turned out; I’ve felt like I was playing Animal Crossing IRL as much as I’ve chased butterflies around this week lol

☾ I did something a little different today and gathered clover blossoms from the yard to make tea! Was a lot of work for two cups of tea but it was an interesting experience! I like clover tea with lemon juice but I’m not sure I’m willing to put that much effort in just to have it again akdfjdkld

☾ Watched some Youtube videos with my family! We saw another of GoodTimesWithScar’s Hermitcraft episodes, though we’ve got some catching up to do.

☾ Finally finished the third chibi I sketched up... almost a month ago now whOOPS, but I had some other art take priority in the meantime, so I’m just glad I got it done!

☾ I grew another blue hyacinth tonight!! Purple hyacinth (and purple rose) pls come home

My last friend I had left from high school deactivated his social media and didn't tell me. I was hurt. So I tossed him a random text about a video game. Figured he was gone for good and it would never actually be delivered.

Oh, the pure joy I had when I saw his notification and he immediately replied. Turns out he simply deactivated his account but kept the chatting app.

I'm not always the most active or even talkative (I tend to appear and vanish for periods of time). But I really do care. I don't have many friends to begin with and have tried to keep up with him periodically.

I'll never take him for granted.

The beginning of the day was a bit rough, but I’m glad it got better eventually as time went on.

• Played Gran Turismo 7. An update came out, but it was pretty mediocre despite ŠKODA making their debut in the series (and even then it’s a funky looking car that doesn’t exist in real life). However, they did add some new engine swap options on a few cars, one that really caught my eye which I haven’t tried yet.
• I also got to continue playing Oracle of Ages! I managed to beat Jabu Jabu’s Belly yesterday (the 7th dungeon) which was tough as nails, so I’m really glad I got that out of the way without looking up a walkthrough! Anyways, I got some extra goodies out of the way collecting more heart pieces, completing side quests, and even upgrading my sword!
• I made some rough traditional drawings including a few from yesterday! It feels so nice getting to enjoy this hobby again.
• The flower hybrid rng has finally turned in my favour. I got a blue and an orange hyacinth hybrid! After not getting anything for three days, I’m ecstatic with the outcome. I’m already content with these two flowers, especially since the colour orange is slowly becoming one of my favourite colours alongside blue (and they contrast each other pretty well too!).

today was a relaxing work day since i went to a training (the sub notes will be tomorrow’s problem) but it was our last session together this year so we had a mini celebration with cake! i am most excited over learning how to fold a butterfly origami LOL but i also finally won one of the raffles and got myself a small set of these neat magnetic double-sided whiteboards

i got to go home early and rest and video call my boyfriend for a couple hours

I got my new glasses in today and I love them! I was never really happy with my previous pair, but I took what I could get at the time. This pair is my preferred shape, fits my face nicely, and the colors are perfect! They're black with just a thin strip of purple at the top but it makes for a really nice accent and it compliments the blue light coating that gives the lenses a purplish tint too.

The Minnesota Vikings have a new quarterback! They drafted J.J. McCarthy in the first round! I hope he'll work out well, but at least we are finally free of Kirk Cousins.

I'm also happy because I had a nice massage therapy session and tomorrow is Friday! This week really flew by.

I got on Animal Crossing earlier and it made me happy and I admit a little overwhelmed (even though before I said I don’t really feel overwhelmed) to be back. If I can pull myself away from Splatoon, I might try to play some. I don’t think I got all the cooking stuff and I have a bunch of villagers I only vaguely remember having . And most of my house is still empty. I got to do something about that. Maybe I’ll eventually continue my island journal once I get my computer hooked up no matter how far off that may be (since i’ve been putting off unpacking stuff ).

I’m having fun playing Splatoon 3. I got to play with Skar again; she also answered some questions I had and showed me a super helpful site .

I cleared a different boss on the 10th floor in the dlc. I used up most of my lives but was able to buy them back at a vending machine .

I’m glad more people got hybrids they wanted today.

Both Spanky and Jewels wanted some snuggles under the blanket today. Spanky only stayed for a short time since Jewels want to go where she was laying and lay them and when she tried going under the blankets, she couldn’t lay where she wanted. Spanky ended up leaving and so did Jewels . they did this one other time when Mel, my brown tabby was stiill alive. Mel also did this once too; she wanted to lay in my arms where Spanky was laying. She could at the time since Spanky was a tiny smol baby (i don’t remember if either left after that).

I got to chat to my best friend more than I thought he’d chat. It was difficult but still part of me was happy since I missed chatting and he’s my only personal friend that still talks to me.

I feel like tomorrow will be a much better day. Just hope I can get myself to wake up while the sun is out (or my mom wakes me up) since last time I took this anti depressant it knocked me out most of the next day. I want to redo the flower pictures I took (I didn’t submit them yet).
