What Are You Happy About Today?

I got my diagnosis this week, currently I figured out I have ASD (and other things) and now I have to go to a group therapy, I feel a lot better now these days.
I'm not as hopeless and tired anymore! so : D

- I went to a regional park to spend time with my relatives. It was nice to be outdoors in nature and go for a walk with my cousins. We ate some yummy food as well like rice and fruits. In addition, I admired the view the lake and birds I saw.
- Found these Pokémon drawings that I drew when I was a teenager.

- I went for a walk and I admired the hummingbird I saw outside.
- I worked out at home.
- Completed some assignment for college.
- I laughed a few times today.

Also, here's what happened yesterday on April 25th:
- I visited my uncle's house for the first time in a while.
- I worked up a good sweat at the gym for an hour.
- I ate a hamburger with French fries for lunch that tasted delicious.
- I went to college and I studied at the library.

I watched the new Peter Pan & Wendy film on Disney plus and it was good 😊
 
- Thanks to everyone here who wished me well! My trip to Japan was amazing! 😄 I did everything I wanted to and had such a great time travelling around the country, sightseeing and trying all the food. I visited Narita (brief sleepover after my flight), Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto, and Nara ❤️ The Japanese people we met were all so nice and polite! I even got a treat on the bullet train on the way back from Kyoto when we went past Mount Fuji! 🗻 Blown away by how beautiful the country is, and definitely planning to visit again. I really want to see the other islands, and visit Osaka.

- Had a shower and then a nap this afternoon because I had a 20 hour flight back home. I'm also happy I got some cleaning done today, swept and mopped the house, unpacked, and did all my laundry from the trip

- Just munched on some delicious rice crackers and green tea I brought back from Japan 🍵 Played some ACNL and expanded my new character's house a little
 
☾ I heard back about the results of my blood tests, and pretty much everything's looking good! The only issue is that I'm gonna need to start taking vitamin D supplements, but given my lifestyle... I can't really say I'm surprised 😅
☾ Mined enough Ancient Debris to make a full suit of Netherite armor in Minecraft today (which I really wanted to get the achievement for before the next update makes it much harder ahaha), and then barely managed to defeat the Wither!! I never wanna do that again (at least on Bedrock, oof), but I feel very accomplished hehe
☾ I'm also completely finished with the route I was on in Lover Pretend! And I'm, uh, glad to be done with that one. I think I'm just gonna have one fave in this game (Yukito 💚), but I'm at least hoping I'll enjoy the next route more than I have these last two. ;u;
☾ Finished watching GoodTimesWithScar's Limited Life series! Already knew most of what happened but it was still a blast to watch.
☾ My dad got a dark chocolate & sea salt bar from a coworker and split it with me and my mom this evening! I love sweet and salty things and I haven't had dark chocolate in what feels like forever. ;v;
 
Today I'm happy because:

- I got a lot accomplished at work. I finally had time to clear some incidents out of my queue.
- I received some recognition from a few of my coworkers.
- It stopped raining in time for us to go on an afternoon walk.
- I saw a bunch of cute dogs on our walk.
- After all the rain we got last night/this morning, I was able to confirm that the outdoor drain and sump pump are working properly.
- My husband was really sweet to me and I enjoyed spending time with him and my dog.
- It's the weekend! I get to sleep in!

It's been a long week, but what a perfect way to end it!

- I got a TON accomplished this week at work and got paid today. 🤩

- I made a lot of people laugh this week and got a lot of laughs myself. 🤩

- I defeated the first world final boss in Honkai: Star Rail! 🤩

- The Dallas STARRRRRRRRRRRRS defeated the Minnesota Wild 4-1 in game 6 to advance to the second round! OTTER POWER! 🤩

- My 26th birthday is in a week! Not doing anything major on the day itself, but I do have the day off from work! 🤩

  • I received some lovely gifts from my hubby for our anniversary! Some cute plants that promote clean air and a lovely personalized sketchbook that can be reused with new sketchbook inserts.
  • There doesn't appear to be any damage from the recent hail storm, but there's a nice layer of water all over my garden. I bought a black tomato plant this is just dominating the planter.
  • My son is really into Minecraft and we have been enjoying creative mode together. Before kids, I would play a survival game on my own every year. His dad set up a dedicated server for us to play on, and I built a replica of our house on it. Hurray for the era of gaming!

➣ With each day that passes, I’m even more thankful for my favorite person. I’m a lot to deal with and I’m almost positive that anyone else would’ve been done with my **** by now. I know she’s been taken advantage of for her kindness and it tugged at my heart a bit hearing that, like a slap in the face. I told her I didn’t want to take advantage of her and she said I was fine in her sweet, comforting voice as usual. She’s the sweetest human ever and I love her.
She’ll apologize ‘cause she needs space in the morning and it breaks my heart. I’m the one overstepping her boundaries here but she remains genuinely apologetic and sweet as ever. I’m crying literal tears of happiness because I don’t deserve this at all???
She’s been super affectionate 99% of the time and she’s apologizing because she can’t cater to my obsessiveness for one portion of the day, how doesn’t she hate me by now??? She’s a blessing in my life, omg. I know she’s a person too and I’ll try to respect her boundaries more. ♡
➣ Tomorrow is my first day off in almost two weeks, but most of my shifts have been under five hours so it hasn’t been too bad. I’m looking forward to sleeping in and seeing my friend. She wants me to dye her hair which will be a new thing for me since I’ve only ever dyed my own hair. I’m hoping this visit with my mom and friend go well, since my mom and I have never been on the best of terms until recently.
➣ With time to kill, I was exploring a local sporting goods store. I found an Osprey pack in the jumbled section of backpacks. This is the Hikelite 32. I haven’t gotten the chance to look at this pack in person until now. It only has one zippered pocket and an additional zippered mesh compartment inside. It doesn’t seem secure at all, but maybe it’s someone’s cup of tea?

I personally have the Osprey Porter 46. Big capacity for a minimalist, huh? I could use the smaller 30 liter version, but this fits my packing cubes better length wise. I definitely don’t use the full capacity, but there’s always the space if I need it. Not so ironically, my sling for everyday carry is an Osprey Daylite. It’s pictured next to my Starbucks Drink, but at least it is good for size comparison, right?

➣ Unfortunately, I’ve been out back on for my closing doubles this week at my main job because my replacement didn’t work out. However, someone else has recently been hired as my replacement, so hopefully this one will work out. I’m happy about how quickly things have been moving with getting me off nights. This is the second time someone’s been hired within two days to accommodate me. I have a much better feeling about this person, too. The other person was just a walking red flag, asking about free food during the orientation.

-Tomorrow I have off. Been a bit of a hectic and stressful few weeks. Haven't had off in a while so this is nice.

-I got all my planter boxes ready. I built four of them and both walls rot away on one of them. So I used scrap planks to rebuild it. I also have four metal bins I drilled holes in for 'rot-proof' planters. The seedlings are already starting to sprout. I have onions, beets, turnips, radishes, carrots, lettuce, spinach.

-Soon I will plant the tomatoes, squashes, and melons.

-I have some prickly pear seeds that I am trying to germinate so that I can plant a bunch of different varieties outside my house. I'm also trying to grow some pumpkins from seeds since they normally don't sell them by plants.

-I've been keeping up with my exercise schedule and it feels nice to do that.

-I played some Mario Kart last night with friends. Was also nice to do that. It's been a while and was fun.

-I planted a weeping cherry tree. Next year when it blooms it will be snow white.
 
Got my Switch all set up today and finally made a Mii character I’m happy with, so I’m definitely ready to play and start fresh again. I always thought the Mii characters were odd looking with weird customization features, but I found a way to work with it, so it’s all good.

Gonna try to start posting some more to earn enough tbt to do username change, so wish me luck! I also know what to change it too, so I’m happy there. ☺️

Just found out the other day that both my iPad and my phone updated to now include a pink heart emoji, which is like finally! I’ve been wanting a pink heart emoji for so long! 🩷

Also happy because I:
  • Finalized my wedding favors
  • Found beautiful, affordable fake floral garlands to replace what would have been a ridiculously costly real floral piece to decorate a fireplace at my venue
  • Had a delicious raspberry parfait
  • Enjoyed some nice, sunny weather with sangria
  • Got something ready for @/Corrie that's ready to send!

Today I'm happy because:

- I got to sleep in this morning. I could still use some more sleep, but hopefully after tonight I'll feel more rested.
- It didn't rain today. It was sunny and pleasant most of the day.
- I saw some adorable dogs around the neighborhood.
- I had a nice day at home with my husband and my dog.
- The birds were active and singing in my backyard this evening.
- I get to rest at home again tomorrow.

He sure is! I’m pleasantly surprised you guessed that since I was aiming for a Super Mario Bros. 3 pixel art style. Looks like I accomplished that goal hehe. It’s a little hard to see them clearly from the in-game photo (which is actually mirrored from the original), so I’ll drop down the squad if you want to get a better look!

Only a few things for today!
  • This was from last night, but I absolutely love the art piece that @/Foreverfox made for me after I commissioned a request!
It's so precious. Agent S and Pag-asa meeting each other is wonderful. Lori really enjoyed drawing my OC and I appreciate that. Anyways, you may have noticed that Agent S' helmet looks a lot like the one I use in Gran Turismo 7 (which actually originated from GT Sport). You could say that she liked my helmet design so much that she wanted to use it for her own lol.

  • It was raining and I felt a little relaxed by it oddly enough.
  • I ate a chicken sandwich from Jollibee.
  • Played a bit of Gran Turismo 7.
  • Took a nap.
  • I watched the sprint race of the 2023 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Not too much happened, though…
  • I finally got around to setting up my Wii U again after not touching it for years. Unfortunately, I discovered that my Wii Remote no longer works but considering I’ve had it since 2007 and didn’t exactly store it properly, it was bound to happen eventually. Other than that, I’m relieved that the system and gamepad still work properly, and just started a new playthrough of Super Mario 3D World!
