☾ I'm feeling a little bit better today! I still feel pretty sick, but it's noticeably better than yesterday at least.
☾ Felt well enough to play a little Pokémon HeartGold today! Defeated Janine and caught Suicune.

Today I'm happy because:

- I'm already feeling a bit better today so the antibiotics are helping.
- I got my highest priority work done despite having a full day of meetings.
- I had a good massage therapy session.
- The weather was nice today.
- Tomorrow is Friday! I am soooo ready for the weekend.

- The washing machine is getting replaced tomorrow yay. It's been broken since monday so I've been scrubbing my rabbit Leo's bedding in the tub like an olden time maiden. He's disabled and can't stand properly so those blankies get dirty fast.
- I ate chicken nuggets for dinner
- Some friends are coming over tomorrow night

- Finished the work week and had a great time!

- I made it to trailblazer level 41 in Honkai: Star Rail!

- The Dallas STARS defeated the Seattle Kraken 4-2 and tied the series at 1-1. LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

- Today, May 5th, is my birthday! Going to go see the new Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

• Last night I was drawing almost exactly how I used to, with little hesitation and frustration. It hasn’t been like that in so long…I was joyful, and woke up still happy about it.~

• I’ve wanted to own the original Dokapon Kingdom for so long (expensive prices kept me away) so the Switch rerelease has been a wish come true! Out in four days after Japan who‘ve had it already-Even if I probably can’t get it day one, I’m excited!

Happy today because I finally got the username change I wanted. So I've now officially done everything I wanted to change to my cute, pink and pretty theme with some other things I love. I'm so happy right now!

my boyfriend got his first doctors visit after being put on medicaid. it went so well. he was able to ask many questions, his doctor was super thorough in asking about everything ailing him, and we both got home with a new sense of hope and relaxation. happy (male)wife happy life!

☆ We officially finished all assignments and review weeks so the last three weeks of school are just exams! I am SO READY!
☆ I did practice exams in the library this morning and never got less than a 90%! I think I will do great All of my studying is put to good use!
☆ I get to play Animal Crossing AGAIN YAY! I also am starting a New Leaf journal / blog on here!
☆ There is a Splatoon 3 Splatfest this weekend!
☆ I GET TO VISIT MY GRANDMA POPO MEILIN THIS WEEKEND
☆ I made some popcorn to eat and go watch some TV!
☆ I got refunded on eBay for my last two Fifth Harmony CD's that never came in the mail, this weekend I will buy them off Amazon instead!

I steamrolled through my 12-hour duties the past days despite me being sick........ and I got to submit my case presentation and case paper on time! god it feels so good to get those two things off my chest after preparing for almost 2 weeks

Now to just finish my last two 12-hr duties and I'm finally free from this hell hole

Today I'm happy because:

- I woke up at a better time this morning and didn't feel rushed to start work.
- I had fewer meetings today, so I actually had time to do some work.
- The weather was really nice again, warm enough and sunny.
- I saw some of the neighborhood dogs on our afternoon walk.
- I got to leave work early for a chiropractor appointment. She did my re-exam and said everything's looking good.
- I went to the grocery store and got lots of food that I like: strawberries, salad supplies, blueberry cream cheese coffee cake, and dark chocolate covered raspberry sorbet bars.
- The sky was absolutely gorgeous tonight. When I was outside, it was the perfect shade of deep velvety blue with a few stars and a huge bright moon. Stunning!

☾ Watched a lot of Youtube with my family today! We caught up on GeminiTay's latest Hermitcraft episode, SmallishBean's new Empires episode, and fWhip's Empires S2 finale! The lovely Minecraft peeps make being stuck on the couch so much more bearable ;v;
☾ Also got to make a little more progress in Pokémon HeartGold while I was feeling up to it! I've now caught Snorlax and defeated Brock!

I’m basically recapping this week and have forgotten a few things oops.

May 1, 2023 to May 4, 2023

• Feel free to skip this point. I spotted Porsche 911 GT3 (997)... Twice on two separate days! It made me happy to finally see this particular generation of the 911 and model trim. Its rear wing is different compared to the one in Gran Turismo 7 so it's probably an earlier model year, but I'll still take it!
• Throughout the week, I've been watching the bald eagle cam that @/Foreverfox shared with me last week. At one point, I saw one of the parents walk over to their baby and just stood over it presumably to keep them warm Here's the link if you ever want to check them out for yourself in the future.
• I went for a walk a couple of times.
• I played Gran Turismo 7 and Super Mario 3D World throughout the week.
• There were a couple of times that the weather was pleasant before most of it was occupied by rain.
• I ate some pizza on Wednesday and it tasted delicious!
• There were dogs just about anywhere I drove and I like the variety hehe.
• I made a couple of decals on Inkscape and really loved the outcome.

• While it was a bit cold in the morning, it got fairly warm in the afternoon, along with clear sunny skies!
• I went for a small walk that left me in a more positive mood.
• Feel free to skip this point. While walking I spotted an Infiniti FX45 parked on the side of the road and got to see it up close! Yes, it's a weird car to mention. Yes, I know it’s an SUV but it appeared in the Gran Turismo series at one point even though it’s labeled as a concept car in those games lol. It’s surprising how it’s the first Infiniti on my list 193 cars later. And funny how this is the next car I spotted after a Porsche 911 lol.
• I spent a lot of time drawing and finished it despite starting in the rough stages this morning. I’m very happy with the outcome as it’s something a little unusual compared to the other pieces I made, and a few of you may have already seen it. Speaking of which…
• I’m very happy that @/Midoriya really loved the drawing I made for him as a birthday present. He’s been my friend on TBT since 2018, so I wanted to make something special for him! Your kind words really made me smile, my friend.

It's like the beginning of my day, but last night I got compost so today I can get my garden beds done today!
I harvested my first mushrooms today!
And yesterday we put together some old beams we weren't using anymore and made a big raised flower bed by the porch to put marigolds in. I guess they keep mosquitoes away? We'll see if it actually works. They'll feed the bees if nothing else.
