What are you looking forward to in the second half of 2020?

I'm looking forward to school *hopefully* starting up again and the cool weather to return to the northern hemisphere and to put this beginning half of 2020 behind me.

I’m looking forward to a vacation with my family in a couple of weeks. I also am excited for when my friend come back to town when the semester starts (hopefully it’ll be normalish). Also, as of August I’ll have a slightly bigger room and a bathtub, so that’s something to be happy about

i'm looking forward to watching 18 again & sweet home! i really miss seeing lee dohyun in dramas since his last "big" one was hotel del luna and that was a while ago ;; hopefully sweet home isn't too scary but i've seen a few pictures from the webdrama and they kinda haunted me

I'm looking forward to starting school as a post-bac credential student! (although I'm not sure how it's going to work at this point). Next semester's supposed to be a ton of fieldwork/observation hours in public schools, and a few classes that focus more on teaching/classrooms.

If the situation's okay enough by then I'm also looking forward to hanging out with my best friend again and hitting up chicken and boba places like we did before.

Also my birthday's at the end of next month so I'm kind of looking forward to it although it's probably not going to be anything that special

I would say just having the NHL back (and sports in general). It's been almost 3 months since it's been shut down, and there's still quite a while to go before it's (hopefully) back. It will definitely be nice to just be able to watch it again and cheer on my favorite teams and have another distraction from what's going on in the world.

Other than that, I'd say I'm looking forward to hopefully receiving news that my job will be allowing us to work from home for a much longer period of time, since I really don't want to go back to the office even after the pandemic is over, lol

This August will be my 21st birthday. I was actually saving up all my tips from work and putting them in a jar so that when my birthday came, we could take a vacation to the beach and bar-hop for the first time. Ever since covid happened, I don’t really see that trip happening anymore because I’ve been out of a job and all of our money has been going to bills.. but I’m still excited to turn legal! Restaurants are slowly opening up again so maybe we’ll just go out to eat and have a drink there lol.

I start college this fall and tbh In really nervous since it’s such a big change for me. I’m not really sure what’s in store for me for the second half of 2020 but I do hope it’s going to be positive >•> I would love to meet up with my friends some day but who knows when that’ll happen.

In August I'm beginning my senior year of college and even though the first semester will prove to be a confusing experience (since the school is trying to decide how to deal w the pandemic still) I'll be happy knowing that it's my last year of school, at least for a while.

I'm also just interested in seeing any new game reveals. I'm excited to play some new games like BFBB Rehydrated and the new Paper Mario game. Honestly praying for some kind of remake for 3D World (or maybe even SM64 but that's prob only in my dreams lol).

- Walking for my graduation from my bachelors degree
- Starting my masters degree in a field I am extremely passionate about
- MORE SPORTS
- Finding a full-time job and/or securing funding for school so I don't have to pay tuition

Assuming things calm down, I would really like to go to the anime convention I go to yearly. It was pushed back until September, but it still might be too early. I also have a 5 day weekend coming up in July I'm super psyched about. Indoors or not, just not having to stay on the phones all day is fantastic.
