What are you looking forward to in the second half of 2020?

2020 is only going to explode in ****tiness from here, mark my words

maybe 2021 will be better, but right now my expectations are about as close to rock bottom as can be had

in short, I look forward to it being over, but not what comes immediately after

I look forward to just being able to go outside without feeling like someone is about to kill me with a virus because they’re not socially distancing.

Holiday was obviously cancelled, and would have been my first for 7 years, as well as our wedding so at this point, I think I’d settle for just having a coffee with friends and not having to wear a hazmat suit to do so.

I’m really hoping the local hospitals will be accepting applications again so I can get a job in my field! Although I really don’t think it’ll happen before year’s end, but I’m trying to stay positive lol. I’m also interested in joining some social groups and taking some classes at my local rec center; I’d like to join a knitting group or a book club or something, and I’ve been interested in taking a pottery course for awhile, but have never really been able to.

Technically the second half, I'm moving out at the end of this month. I'm nervous and feeling cold feet, but my friend is way more compatible for me to live with than my dad, so it's for the best that way. Also not so much a "big" thing, but I'm longing so much for going to Round 1 once I feel it's safe to again. And meeting up with my local lolita community. I just found mine days before the shelter-in-place kicked in

Also MCR concert in Detroit, whenever it gets rescheduled to, though I don't think it's gonna be this year anymore. I hope not, anyways...
