What are you planning to name your town and character?

there's probably a million threads like this ut i'm curious wha are you planning to name your island/character?

i'm planning on naming my character halaki/kalaki which is hawaiian for my real name and then my island is gonna be palm bay

i've always stuck with the name malayna since my name was always too long to fit, but i could finally fit it in pocket camp lol

I always name my town 'Life' so I get gems like "Welcome to Life"

I actually plan on using my real name, Vaiva, in it... Idk I feel like I'm really invested in this game and will spend years upon years with it so instead of using a spur-of-the-moment nickname I'll just use my own name.
I'm also planning on naming my island 'Lonesome', after my favorite Connie Converse lyrics: "In between two tall mountains / there's a place they call lonesome / don't see why they call it lonesome / I'm never lonesome when I go there". Thought it describes my experience with Animal Crossing nicely ))

Either my traditional "Flowert" or "Egalliv". Then, my character name will still be "Snow".

I'll probably name my islander after myself, I have a unique spelling so I enjoy my name a lot. Also, I've settled on the name "Maritime" for my island!

Gonna probably call my character Louise, don't know however about the name for the island yet. Would be nice to find out if they changed the character limit.

My character's name will be Kia again and for the island's name, I picked one that has 9 characters in it and this game might also make us use only 8.

I really hope it isn't the case, because I really like the name.

I will name my town Ponyo after the Ghibli movie. My boyfriend is going to name his town Koriko (just like the city from Kiki?s Delivery Service)! So we will both have Ghibli-inspired town names. I will name my character Alina since this is my real name.

I'll most likely be going for Thule as the island name, and my characters name will either be Rhyth or Rhythrin. I think Rhyth might be cuter in the AC;NH setting.

I haven't really decided on the town name yet, especially since my brother will have to share with me, but my character will probably end up being named Ribbon, since I mysteriously got attached to the character I named that in my second NL town.

My town name is going to be Gardenia and I'm still debating on if I want to use my real name (Megan) or if I should use one of my nicknames (Nessie, Tini)

i would think it'd be 10, because pocket camp allows you to make your name up to 10 characters, but i hope so too, because i may also do my real name instead of it in hawaiian, since in the past my name has been too long to fit so I've had to use malayna lol

i wondered if i should use a nickname too but then i realized that the villagers will probably give us nicknames like in acnl so idk if that will help with your decision or not. your town name is very pretty tho!!

Awesome names guys! For my town name I've yet to completely decide, I know for certain that I want to do something Jurassic Park-oriented. I plan on making my whole island be JP-themed, so I'm really hoping for some neat items! But, to give an idea I might do Isla Sorna or Isla Nublar. However I'm actually leaning toward Sorna's code name which was Site B. So yeah, we'll see!

For my character's name I'm not sure yet? I'll have to do some more thinking on that. Normally I struggle most with the town name so I figured I would get that out of the way first. But ayy I still have a month to decide on a character name, so I'm not too concerned.

So my character name has always been Rein, so we're going with that again XD
My town names have always included the word "zoo" but I'm still thinking. In the past, I've used:

1. Wild World - Zooville
2. City Folk - Zoo City (creative, no? lol)
3. New Leaf - Zootopia (my town was named Zootopia on launch day, 4 years before the movie was released! I have maintained my original town since the first time I played.)
4. New Horizons - ?????Zoo????? (I want to continue my tradition of "zoo")

.....So, island name is a work in progress!
