When I do traditional, I use both prismacolor and copic markers and faber-castell pens :0 I also use watercolor paper c:
And then for digital, I use a wacom intuos draw
When I do traditional I use pencils and color pencils and color markers and a simple black pen when I'm inking.
Though when I do digital art I'll usually use Colors! 3d on my 3ds. I should probably try to draw more on Manga Studio using my tablet but I just can't get used to drawing on the computer.
Traditional:
mechanical pencil with .5 lead
ink pen .38 (faber-castell and uni ball signo)
notebook from Daiso
random colored pens (Staedtler)
gel pens (rainbow colors and white)
If i wanna be fancy: watercolor pencils and a waterbrush
Digital:
-wacom intuos pen and touch small + stylus
For the traditional, I tend to draw with a ballpoint pen or a fine tip pen. I'm quite heavy handed so when I draw with this pen, I'm not only happy with the flow but it also let me know when I'm pressing down too much.
Digital:
Wacom Cintiq + pro pen
Or Wacom Intous pro. I draw more with my cintiq since it's like drawing on pen and paper but I've been using my Intous as of lately .
I don't draw traditionally at all. it's really frustrating to me with no copy paste tool or transform haha
but anyways I have a ton of different (customized) brushes for SAI that are p useful and fun to use
I use a Wacom Bamboo Splash pen tablet and I've had it since like 2011. I did get a different pen because the old one had the button torn out.
Traditional: Derwent Academy sketchbook usually, but I carry a Daiso sketchbook to all my classes for all those times I get really bored
0.5 and 0.3 mechanical pencils
Muji eraser
Digital: Hanvon Artmaster III. Wacom are renowned for their quality for sure, but I've found that Hanvon are pretty decent dupes of Wacom tablets for a lot cheaper.
for traditional, i use faber castel color pencils but if i do watercolors, i use a small set of pentel watercolors!
if it's digital, i use my intous draw and paint tool sai
digital I'm on a wacom intuous 4 (medium) + clip studio paint (mostly)
traditional I'm usually on whatever that's handy... ahaha....
recently I got a fountain pen so I've been experimenting with that!
otherwise I work a lot with sakura microns, watercolors (windsor and newton / pentel), and markers (grey-ish tones)...
my current sketchbook is one that i picked up from an unwanted pile of stuff... lol... (which surprisingly, is also a windsor and newton one orz; )
For traditional, I use a 0.5 mm mechanical pencil, and if I want to color, I use random color pencils in my room or Prismacolor if I'm feeling fancy. As for sketchbook, I use a Royal Langnickel big sketchbook some times or a Strathmore small, sketchbook when I'm traveling.
As for digital, I have a Wacom Bamboo Pen and Touch that I've had for a while
I actually just mainly use crayola for colours, random pencils for sketches, and dollar store black gel pens for inking. Not super fancy or professional, but it works for me for now!!
I do art for fun only and I'm not that good anyway lol so I grab a random pen/ pencil and paper every time I feel like drawing. I also do acrylic painting, with a self-made canvas, a standard-quality paint and brushes, gesso, and reese's varnish
For digital, I got a wacom intuos as my graduation gift (I'm a business school graduate but I got art tool for my gift haha!) and I use artrage studio for the software. I use my tablet to make a notebook design, a really simple one.. so I can say I'm not advanced with the digital thingy
Reading all previous post before me, I seriously adore everyone who have certain preference for their art tool/supplies, like how you differentiate this and that, and how you feel better if you use this or that. that sounds really cool!! and maybe that's how the pros draw ;D
