Lost in the memories
For me, I'd say the most invested I get with Valentine's Day is when I indulge in my original character's love lives skfdkg. I tend to draw a couple piece of them or come up with new lore that's usually centered around V-day.
My friends and some other members on here may know that my original characters stem from my ACNH rep, Eris, and Fang (oc's name is Frey) so I decided to make this collage based on a combination of their shared interests, things Fang/Frey does for Eris, and activities they would do together during V-day.
I wanted to challenge myself by using blue as a main colour instead of the usual red/pinks you'd expect, while maintaining the
Valentine's Day theme. ^^ These two are more introverted so I imagine most of their V-Days would be spent at home together. Cozy gaming is definitely on the table, and there would definitely be cute candles around the house to set a mood, as well as some starry-like decorations because they're both into night sky/starry aesthetics and would find a way to merge these themes together.
I also included some writer's motifs like the quill pen and ink, and type writer because Fang/Frey is a writer and he's most definitely
writing love letters for Eris around this time of year.
I feel like compositions aren't my strong suit and this went through a few versions before
getting to a point I felt happy with, but overall this was a fun and challenging experience! :>
Tbh I can't even remember the last time I did a collage, but I ended up losing track of time and spending hours on this.
My ocs mean a lot to me, and Valentine's day is always a good excuse for me to indulge in them even more because I'm a hopeless romantic haha. This collage was a fun new way to "celebrate" this holiday with them, and I'm happy I can add it to their collection!

I made some minor edits in Procreate to get the final result. ^^

I think most of my Valentines I've been alone (no biggie) so I rather spent the day with the things I love and often bring me happines.
Pretty much the collage is about my cats (Menta and Rina
), cake (red velvet my beloved), coffe/matcha (pink because Valentine!) and computers+videogames 
Most of the references are photos of mine or random stuff from google, I can add them if needed.

don't really celebrate valentine's but shall buy a bar of dark chocolate to consume. also play some video games and hang out in nature.. practice the self-love energy
